Excellent! This vid gives great insight into club set-up and modification. Love this!
Great questions, guys! Lots of thought put in here
The tape on the heel of the driver then on the toe of the fairway wood makes perfect sense to me because if I were to mess around with lead tape that’s exactly what I’d do. My miss with the driver is right and I tend to hook the shit out of my fairway lol.
Looks like my clubs. Love the lead tape and a little heavier heads. 🤙
Also with the irons lead tape placement does very little for moving the CG. You’ll find a much bigger difference with the woods.
Titleist 680’s are too nice looking of a forged blade iron to put lead tape on in my view. I use 680’s although I have a Japanese made 680 for my 3 iron and a 681 for my 2 iron. None of my irons have lead tape on them.
You won’t see it at address with classic MBs like those.
Put lead tape on mid heel of my new ltdx and it’s now transformed
Isn’t that wedge illegal now?
As long as the groves conform he’s good. I’m sure they’re custom and meet usga requirements.
