    The tape on the heel of the driver then on the toe of the fairway wood makes perfect sense to me because if I were to mess around with lead tape that’s exactly what I’d do. My miss with the driver is right and I tend to hook the shit out of my fairway lol.

      Also with the irons lead tape placement does very little for moving the CG. You’ll find a much bigger difference with the woods.

    Titleist 680’s are too nice looking of a forged blade iron to put lead tape on in my view. I use 680’s although I have a Japanese made 680 for my 3 iron and a 681 for my 2 iron. None of my irons have lead tape on them.

      As long as the groves conform he’s good. I’m sure they’re custom and meet usga requirements.
