People acting like the original movie was some oscar worthy masterpiece. This remake/reimagining was stellar, script was on the weak side and side characters made some questionable choices but besides that it was helluva entertaining and I loved both Jake and Connor and what they did with their characters. It was a great action movie
@@Chris-oz9qx My man, its like comparing apples and oranges. Connor is not an actor, this was his first role and while he pretty much did play himself to an extent, he was still entertaining to watch in the movie

The kid is right, Dalton isn't a bad guy, but he's not a nice man eith, r and to his credit, he clearly struggles to keep his darker instincts under control and in this, for me at least, his Dalton is more interesting than Patrick's.
I've watched a few scenes before, and it seems a little too plastic and contrived to suffer a whole two hours. Watching this condensed version is probably way more enjoyable than watching the whole film. 😆

the year long boot camp he went through on this is WAY more intense than hugh jackmans wolverine workout... plus he trained MMA with connor himself- it is so good. mad respect for jake- no homo, but id do him now LOL
Because despite what you heard. It's a reboot not a remake. This Dalton isn't even the same character. Footloose was a remake. Jungle Book was a remake. Lion King was a remake. This is not.
File this one under "If It's Free, It's For Me". Skip to the end and if the movie Trainspotting is in the end credits, watch that instead. The first 5 minutes of that is better than the 2 hours you'll waste on Road House.
Pour ma part je l'ai vu hier et c'est un très bon film mais c'est sûr que parfois dans le film il ne rend pas service au film original mais après les acteurs les musiciens dans le film tout ce qui acting c'est un peu mauvais mets le film dans sa globalité est super surtout au niveau de l'action et les combats qui sont très réalistes avec le duel entre Jack et Conor McGregor qui est très bon dans le film et merci d'avoir redonné vie un classique original avec Patrick Swayze de la version de 1989 voilà tout ce que j'avais à dire👊🏽👍🏽
I dunno. The original was a great "B" movie although every time I say that on YT someone comes out of the woodwork and says no way. It seems this one is done less broadly and with a bit better cast. Also have the UFC monster as the monster is a great idea.

Just by watching the trailer. It's not going to be anywhere near as good as the original. Swazey was the shit. Hard to out do him.

I enjoyed the movie, I never saw the original though, so that probably made me enjoy it more
