That was an amazing guide! I think this is key for improving in the game, so its super helpful for newer players and even some mid/end game players can get a few tips and tricks.
And if you are taking suggestions, i think a video showing melee combos with meta weapons could be something that helps a lot of people. (Could be awesome if you could explain/show in which situations you use each combo) (also its not needed to show all weapons /non meta weapons, since altho some are fun to use, it would make the video much longer and not that useful for improving). Some of my noobie friends have trouble with that and its always hard to explain that. And i havent yet found a good video that explains that aside from "thepartyknife" guides altho those are quite long.

Btw. I am mediocre player but if there is one that even I find as a low threat, it is Leech. With the exception of the true FUBAR situation, even if you cannot deal with him directly (i.e. horde press), when you hear him to teleport, make a short pause in your head and then dodge - even 2-3 times. Most likely you are already dodging. He is rather slow to charge his attack, that's why that small pause and by dodging he misses.
You of course need to a little bit judge where he is as dodging towards him cannot help you - but even blind dodge is unlikely to be the wrong. It is jut one direction out of several possible.
About the dodge-jump combo, i don't think the jump erase the slowness but rather it refills all effective dodge counts.
The dodge count resets after not dodging after 0.5(?) seconds, jumping usually takes longer than that amount. Dodging does slow you down at the end just for a lil bit though.
Does the slide-jump tech only work if you press a button to dodge then press a button again to jump, or can you hold down the dodge/jump button for the tech to work?
Btw, EXCELLENT guide, especially when you were showing the keyboard commands while playing.
A small correction and addition to enemies climbing or jumping down: Their animation does not show it but while they are doing the climb/jump/recovery animation, they are in max stagger state, this means they take maximum extra damage depending on your stagger talent at lvl15. Keep this in mind when you have to deal with a lot of enemies chasing you. Movement and positioning is key. EDIT: An important piece for movement, not widely used even though it is extremely effective: Jumping when a boss is hitting you with swipe attack sends you flying, this is an efficient method of putting a distance between yourself and a boss/wave right before you are to revive someone or just want to escape for a better position. The boss is breaking your block but it wont be near you to capitalize on it.

I use "Space" for 'dodge only', which is used A LOT during battles, and "Alt" as 'jump only'.
That way I don't get any accidental dodge/jump, I can do them in any direction I want (besides dodge forward), and it's easier to do the combo dodge-jump shown at 4:10 with just a slide of my left thumb through Space->Alt.

I always thought you were a girl, based also on your profile picture and your name, but now I'm wondering if I've been mistaken all this time, and it's not just them hearing the male bot voice... :)

Off-topic note, it seems you like minigun with instant max fire rate talent.
Currently there is a glitch where double tapping minigun(as soon as bullet goes out from the first tap) will also grant max fire rate upon the second tap. A little unintuitive but can save the talent slot for armor-piercing or +50% ult capacity.

I'm glad you mentioned the Parry trait. Do you use Parry very often? It's my favorite trait, I feel unprotected without it.
For a while, I only used parry. I think parry is great, but it seems that the meta is currently more about continuous attacks with Swift Slaying and Opportunist than it is about using parry.

I just picked this game and I still have trouble dealing with hordes. I tend to just go all out and swing my weapon. Seeing you kite them like children is amazing to see. I just have one question, why is your range so deceptively long? I feel like your range is unproportionate on what was displayed. Is it natural or its because its hammer?

Question: Is there a way to dodge the mauler's wide sideways swing? Also, does lag/difficulty affect how fast an assassin jumps at you?
I think blocking is the best way to stabilize the stepping swing, and avoiding it with DODGE is severe.
How are you killing those chaos so fast with Cog Hammer, is this a mod?

Crouch is completely and utterly useless, only potentially useful in like TWO places across all the maps, and even then, "meh," don't need it. I even removed the keybinding for it to make space for other stuff and never looked back!
Well, how can you talk with the dwarf without crouching?

So how do you take those grims?
That tells me that there are rather 3-4 places as on some crouch-jump is required or makes the job easier.
@@mungo7136 meh, there's one grim I can think of that requires crouch to get to. I just get the other one on that map =9) I dunno, there's just enough other buttons to worry about. I unbound "walk" too as that's a waste of time.

I do not use walk, rarely crouch as who crouches is dead in a few seconds. Still I have it mapped as it is just standard keymap on that button for any FPS-like games and musle memory is hard to cheat.
