He's allowing himself to be a doormat even though he's incredibly strong. This type of character is just too cliche. I don't know why they keep on using that kind of character. A character with no substance, no motivation, a doormat who just accepts everything, clearly a reflection of lazy writing.

With that being the premise most people can’t just forget previous traumas just like we in a normal life can’t just forget traumas as it literally shapes the person we are. Now if Mc is a new person that got the memory’s of their previous life then it’s more understandable but still even then fears are still fears even if it’s second hand.

I’m only 15 min in and mc is already annoying , you obviously know you are op and that is why you hide ancient magic , you kill monsters and they drop core which was stated to be expensive so you can live a good life … stop acting dense and just act like a normal person for once , you don’t need to be super good and kind but you also don’t need to be a jerk , just be normal and don’t be a pushover
can't find any translated chapters but if it follows course, the king and nobles start seeing great loses across their domains and investigate why they all the sudden have issue only to find everything pointing back to the boy who claimed he used the weakest wind spell to defeat demons. the boy they all laughed at. in a bid to find the boy, they search far and wide, offering either to reinstate his engagement, give him riches or to just force him into service. but he now lives in an area they have no power to travers and worse, his strength is driving the monsters to leave the area and invade their own. at least, thats how i would have written it if i was trying to stick to the cliches.
things goes as it follows after he left the monsters in the demon forest started attacking in greater numbers heavily demaging the army for wich the knights got orders to aid the army but they failed and the knights got nearly wiped out by the monsters, the princess after breaking the engagement got force into marrying the noble in charge of the demon forest as an apology since he lost his land after the monsters overrun the territory and force them to leave the demon forest his entire family got wiped out except by himself and the youngest son who is only 5 years old but the problems didnt stop there as the noble that helped the princess to broke off the engagement with MC invaded the new territory and killed the guy to wich the royal army got summon to crush him and then he got striped of all noble privileges and titles to later on be executed so as for now in the LN the kingdom got cripple beyond repair and migh fall with time as the story keeps going
Like with every cliche of some great hero getting banished from a kingdom goes: the nobles and such start seeing losses and they all pinpoint the source of who’s been keeping things at bay which is the hero. I’d like to think that for once, they didn’t need MC for the shitty Kingdoms prosperity. I say this cuz of the duke who was actually in love with the princess so lil naive me likes to think their love will keep the Kingdom afloat, if you will, without the MC’s “help”. Other side of me imagines the Kingdom already in ruins thanks to the demons. Their little “Elite” soldiers couldn’t do jack shit before and they won’t now that the MC is gone 😂
@@J0kerHecz the only one keeping the kingdom alive is the king right now as the princess lost her future after breaking off the engagement, the son of the duke got himself killed as the abolishment of the anti-demon aristocracy meant the best mages the kingdom ever have are gone forever and the rotting carcas that was the kingdom is falling apart as the neighboring kingdom sensing weakness declared war and everything keeps working out because the king is doing with as little as he can to keep the nation alive even tough is beyond saving
