Thanks for the video. My great-great grandmother was a Powers from Waterford. I am also descended from Strongbow. I got to see Dunhill castle in 2018. The next day, I invaded Waterford City by car and bought souvenirs. ;)

My grandmother was a Powers and we are supposedly descended from Lord John Power of Dunhill. Apparently John Power’s three sons were sold by Cromwell into indentured servitude in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Our branch of the Powers family, the Athens, Vermont branch, is descended from the eldest son Thomas. I only learned all this recently, so of course I find this video and any information about Dunhill Castle incredibly fascinating. Maybe I’ll attend one of these meetings some day.🙂

I'm a power from tullamore Co offaly I was told by my cousin who done a genealogy search on our family that we are distant cousins of Tyrone power the actor ,,,,,,I must go to Waterford to this event
