I take revision to mean studying (correct me if I'm wrong). I used to be a college/university-level tutor, so: I think the key is to know what type of learner you are. If you learn best from listening, have someone read your notes to you, or speak them aloud to yourself a few times (even if you feel silly); if you're a writer, write it down, make note cards, etc.; if you're visual, make charts/graphs, a powerpoint with pictures - whatever's gonna get your attention. If you're a kinesthetic learner, meaning you learn by doing, it's a little harder, but try to do something active and physical. Recruit a friend to quiz you with flashcards, or make study aids that you can use with your hands/body (a matching game or something that requires you to get up and piece things together), and keep things varied. And lastly, give yourself time to RELAX! You stop absorbing info after a certain point, so don't force it. Give yourself a breather, and switch from subject to subject so you don't zone out, and when it comes time to test, *trust yourself.*. Best of luck!
I am definitely an early person!! I can't stand being late I feel sick to my stomach if I'm not sure I'm going to get there on time, especially if it's work related. It lets you block whatever websites you want, and you can check those blocked websites once an hour for ten minutes. It really helped me.

Hey Lily, at uni all the digital resource tutors have taught us that when we are editing films/photographs that we should have the file on the desktop and NOT to work from the memory stick/hard drive.. I think it majorly slows some aspects of saving etc and can cause the file to corrupt easier.. Just a tip. (I'm a fine art student who does film and photography)
"I wish I could go back and do it all again!" I'm third year in a four year degree and I think this all the time. Guess it never goes away. Though, to be honest Lily, I think if my life unfolds in a way similar to yours I won't have many regrets!
I think another revision tip for using social media aswell is to download the app for your laptop which blocks twitter/facebook/youtube up to a certain amount of time (like an hour or so) so you can use your laptop for revision and concentrate. I know for my GCSE's I started off watching science youtube videos and then magically ended up on beauty videos!
My sister took some VHS's to transfer to DVD, it was really expensive like $300 for 3 VHS's cassettes. But it was really worth it since now we are going to be able to see old footage from my mom who passed away 20 years ago.

It really depends on the occasion if I am an early person or a late person. When I have to go to an appointment I am just in time, or a little late. When I am meeting someone at their house I think being a bit late (like 10 minutes) is polite, because you don't want to be early and making them stress. Meeting someone in the street somewhere I am usually just in time, because it is awkward for the person waiting. When traveliing I like being early.
