Now I am watching your night camping alone from my island in Maldives. From my childhood days, I was always fascinated by the view of Nongmaijing ching hill range as it looks very majestic from Singjamei side. It always looks very pleasing with its view in Imphal valley. I always dreamt that I wanna go on top of the mountain in day time as well as at night having dinner sitting on a nice dinning table like in a cafe or restaurant enjoying the nightly view of Imphal city. I hope that people living at Imphal area, now have to develope atleast the top of the mountain with some form engaged& serviced type guest houses in a limited manner, maintaining thereby, with proper control of garbage disposal to maintain true ecological balance. By saying like that, I don't meant to populate heavily the foothills of Nongmaijing ching as overcrowding will make us disenchanted losing the natural beauty
Since I was not there long time. I am unable to locate it in my mind the exact spot for your solo camping area. Is it on the southern side from Khalong or anything else?
Yeah..it is on the nothern side from khalong..easily known as yaralpat which can be come directly from porompat DC roads straight towards hills side...I'm camping just above the Navodaya school , yaralpat , Imphal East..
I mean southern side towards Ngarian hill from Khalong. For me , I consider Yaral pat side is north of Khalong. I still wanna see how it looks like its breadth of the top ridge exploring from Khalong area along the ridge top towards ngarian hill side. Still the top ridge curving round a little bit when I see it from Singjamei side but still looking very high. While taking video along the ridge from Khalong downsouth opposite near the Andropark area. It would be worthwhile to watch it through your effort and for that I have to treat you well in some form when I come in November if possible. I am not participating physically there but I would like to see it through your venture in video ,both sides Imphal side as well as Andro side simultaneously from the same point of references for comparison. I am not so interested about other hills but this hill really captivates me a lot. That's why I am communicating with you. I like this hill so much so that I plan to buy a piece of land near to its foothill.
