The localization hosts for this update were out of necessity for English, the other languages used playable character VAs. I thought it was cool though.
There's a SAG AFTRA strike going on and the recording studio used for Genshin is listed as not having agreed to the union contract terms, so nobody will work on anything with them during the strike. Their terms for the strike is that VAs get to consent or deny AI using their voice likeness, and that they get paid for the work the AI is used in.
The real reasons KB plays Genshin:
Electro Men and Geo Women.

The music video made me cry. Its also not just a game for me. Its an adventure. I played genshin on v.1.2 i think. Its another world for me that makes me happy and Im sure fellow travellers know that. I will continue playing cos I wanna see how it will end. So near yet so far! 🎉❤ hbd genshin
In this patch, we won't get many things like new maps, but the Archon Quest Natlan act 3 and 4 makes it even more interesting, and don't forget the Sabzeruz Festival, we celebrate Nahida's birthday together 🎉🥳

I'm so excited for the next acts of the archon quests! 🤩 Originally, I wasn't planning on getting Xilonen 'cause I wanted to save for Mavuika and Wriothesley's rerun to get his cons. But Xilonen's playstyle and animations changed my mind. Anyway, I am guaranteed, I just need her to come home early so I can still save for Mavuika and Wriothesley.
Xilonen looks fun! And her vision is massive! The new updates are amazing! Nahida finally gets the birthday she deserves! My pull plans are in save mode for the Pryo Archon!
15:56 the usual "main event" reward is either a exclusive 4* weapon or a 4* character and they alternate, so in 5.0 we got that Catalyst, so in 5.1, there's a character. Then another weapon in 5.3, character in 5.4, and so on...
I am 95% sure Cyno will be in the event just that because he works with Nahida as General Mahamatra
Nahida can sneak in his mind and ruin surprise if Cyno acted even a lil bit sus.
Moreover, Cyno doesn't seem like a guy to like Surprises that much (Reference to Last bit of Sumeru Act 5)
Pizza or Electro Boi funds. The hype is real for 5.1

She can Decrease Various Elemental Resistances by 36% and basically give 40% dmg bonus to her team by equipping her with Newest Natlan Support set.
So Res shred and Dmg Bonus all good but she also Heals on her burst which is crazy good as that means she can help in Sustaining your Dmg dealer.

I'm definitely getting Ororon once he gets released, he looks divine. Also, hopefully, they release Capitano
People have been saying 'we're not getting a new map area', but I am not so sure about that since in that trailer, I saw landmarks I haven't seen before. Plus, where is that new boss going to be located hmm? So I am going to just wait and see.
But yeah I am excited for 5.1. I have no plans to get Xilonen either, but I am happy she's improving the Geo element by making her a buffer/healer. As for who I am saving for, I am still looking at Mavuika, but we'll see since I am still in super save mode.
dont know if you missed in while watching but ororon is the first tale electro character he has his vision on his back also i dont think ororon will be in 5.2 normally thats the patch where the archon drops. well we will see who comes in around 1 week
