BET is not a label and they no longer have a platform that is music focused on their channel (i.e. 106 & Park). Unlike Disney, their parent company, Viacom doesn't have a record label (aside from the Nickelodeon one) that they could use to sign acts who debut on their networks. The most either group probably could've gotten handed to them was a performance on the BET Awards. And that award show aired while Encore was halfway through the series and trying to keep the final lineup a secret.

Without the show, and the time expectancy. I hope they can spend some time on working on a sound, and harmonising. They could get Brandi from Blaque and really create a dope band. Say what you want about the twins, but they can write catchy, current lyrics. I would have loved to have heard some of the other demos with Aubrey and Nivea on the tracks, but I do hope this isn’t the end of a project 🤞🏼

I really want them to put out music videos for these songs. They’re so good. I enjoyed the EP. I just hope BET does more for them. I know there will be a season 2 and i hope it revolves around Bluprint and their next project along with new girls from other girl groups. There’s potential and this will only help all the ladies get back into the music industry and have work that consists of what they love doing. I know everyone wants Shamari to go solo but i love her in girl groups. In my opinion, this entire concept is amazing. It reminds me of Making the Band how the groups from those shows active put out great music and were successful, the Encore show could push Bluprint just like that too

@@artgroupie Yes! or maybe they can still document Bluprint on the 2nd season while a 2nd group is being created. Kind of like in Making the Band 4 when Day26 was being created, Danity Kane was shown working on the 2nd album.
