GREAT VIDEO - LOTS of detail, save only part #s.
Hard to film - tight area.
I was trying to pull panel down wrong, now I know why lol

Thank you for this video. It was a huge help in diagnosing and replacing same in my 2002 E430. Hardest part was getting the blower motor cover back on. You can also diagnose a bad resistor by checking continuity across the ground tab and the 3 separate poles.

you have no idea how much your video helped brother, I have a 97' e420 with 70k miles on it and for whatever reason the climate control is not blowing anything anymore, not hot or cold but the motor works, Im going to install the resister pack today and hopefully that fixes it.

Daughter's 2002 w210 E320 had intermittent climate control(blower) issues. Now it doesn't work at all. Looks like you video will help us determine it is the resistor pack or blower. Car has ~260K miles but runs strong.

Great video, but in my E320 from 1999 (before facelift if it makes difference) is so, that blower fan responds correctly with ignition on, but when I turn on the engine, blower works only on first degree. Can anybody give me advice? Thanks for advance!

I just replaced my Heater fan Regulator/Resistor on my new 1998 E300D Turbo Diesel ... my heater fan works once in a while when it wants to.
I had No luck...it still only works when it feels like it !
