The examples listed under ACCA rulebook 601.4 A1 for routine and mechanical services contains " Preparing financial statements based on information in the client-approved trial balance and preparing related notes based on client-approved records." How is this different from the second bullet point in the Answering technique screen ( 7 min 55s ) in this video ?
In the absence of further details, the assumption is that this would not be restricted to compiling financial info based on the trial balance only and therefore unlikely to meet the criteria of being routine and mechanical.
