As promised, I am going to be uploading almost everyday giving tips and guides about how to look after your natural hair whether you've just embarked on the natural hair journey or already have natural hair and still have some questions.

I once made the mistake of doing a protein treatment and did not deep condition after🙈 but because of your patience you took time to help and that mistake will never happen again. I’ve been using the Afro Botanics oils and am loving it. I use it when doing the LOC method and for my hairline routine which I saw from Sinovuyo.... Hair products are essential on both Green and Blue store.

Your earrings is soo cute, so is your sweater and your hair is lovely. I have the Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother. Wow you use shampoo once or twice a year. That Black Pearl range co wash sounds good. You're right to budget monthly for your nature hair products. Nilotica oil blend with grapeseed oil, coconut oil and etc sounds good. You really love that cream and it's crazy can't get it right now because of lock down. Carols daughter deep conditioner is definitely a win from how you're describing it. Palmers protein treatment sounds good. Water bottle definitely is so cheap and I have about 3 of them. I have a satin bonnet and satin head scarf. Nice video. Yoh Kay bruh, I bought that Afrobotanics Conditioner last year and I found it to be sooo drying. I even started using it as a shampoo. I don’t know why, I found that Dove conditioner is so nourishing (besides Carols Daughter).

This is extremely helpful! So you said you only shampoo once or twice a year, what do you do on wash days then? Another question, the order you discussed the products - is that the order we should use the products? Thanks again for this!!
On wash days I use ACV in the place of shampoo. My wash day video which is the second video I uploaded goes into a lot more detail about which order I use the products and how I use them. However the order I mentioned the products is more or less how you should use them.
Is leave -in-conditioner the same as a deep conditioner?

Hi Kay.....i started using apple cider vinigar for my hair but now i have noticed that i develop dandruff after 2days of wash day ,scalp is very ichy and the apple cider vider vinigar burn soo bad when it gets into my scalp.....i realise my scalp could be dry ,before apple cider vinegar i was using shampoo every time washing my hair but now I'm using it whenever i have taken off my braids becouse my hair would be soo dirty....what can i used to recover from this???

Hey Kay, I recently bought the Afro Botanics Hydrating Conditioner..I want to know do you apply it on dry hair and work it through or do you wet your hair so it's damp?
You actually use the Afro Botanics hydrating conditioner when you co-wash your hair. So what Kay normally does. She starts with spraying ACV onto wet hair, then rinse that off. Then wash using the Afrobotanics hydrating conditioner, then rinse off. Finished off with LOC method.

Hello. Please tell me the difference between co wash and deep conditioning.... Thank you for an informative video
Andiswa Mhlongo Hi Andiswa. ❤️ So co wash is short for “conditioner wash” you do this after shampoo or after an ACV rinse and rinse it out . Deep conditioning is a treatment which you leave in your hair for a little while 30-40 minutes then rinse out. On days where you deep condition you don’t have to co wash because your hair would’ve gotten a moisture treatment from the deep conditioner.

Is it possible to go for Afro when you have relaxed hair? Or need to cut them first
i am transitioning as in you must always do braids or conrows, just make sure it is a protective hairstyle so it can build growth .
when you feel like the growth is enough then you can chop - whenever you feel like the growth is enough .
so you basically transition by plaiting or doing braids to build growth .
