Não entendo porque você fala e explica o italiano para quem fala inglês e não há áudio e legenda em português. Quando você fala em italiano, felizmente eu já entendo bem, mas quando fala em inglês não entendo nada. Poderia colocar opção de áudio e legenda em português por favor?

Ormai is a pain because it can be used to mean “ by now “ to … per esempio Dovrebbe essere sulla novantina, ormai.

Is it possible to provide optional Italian and English subtitles for those who cannot keep up with the narrative ? That would make it accessible to very slow and backward learners like myself, while what seems to be the majority of your followers could turn the subtitles off.

I just discovered your channel yesterday and already watched about 7 of your videos. I learned more from you in those few hours than I learned in a whole year of Italian study, movie watching, group classes, etc. You presentation is great and so is your attitude, very serious but often funny. You break down the language in both basic and advanced levels. It works very well for me b/c my knowledge of the language is very mixed up, a composite of Siciliano, Napolitano, and Romano. I was born U.S. but both parents in Southern Italy so. . . Okay, sono un chiacchierone but I want to say you are very good, I learned so much, and appreciate the effort you put into it. I've been to Rome only once and was practicing language for a planned return when this malattia struck. Maybe soon.

Is "ormai" more used/more corect in cases of missing an opportunity/unfortunately than positive /good situations ?

Ormai hanno vinto. According to LearnAmo's video this would suggest disappointment but I get the impression from the context here that it might be a neutral comment talking more about the time than expressing disappointment. Can you tell us if this is true? Thank you.
Ciao Alan! Thank you for your question. "Ormai" has more than one interpretation: it can suggest disappointment, but not only that, it can also be a neutral comment about the time an action takes place, as you say. Context is always the key!
