I love the admiration cillian and rdj have for each other. They are two completely different personalities but you can tell they have the utmost respect for each other
@@Glen0cide 11 miles of film according to a online US source. Fascinating subject matter - I found this photo: International Ammunition Assoc. / The 3rd nuclear bomb over Japan . Apparently, the earliest photo of Nagasaki 15 minutes after the attack from 5 km away. Unlike Hiroshima, Kokura was spared because of weather and other issues (flak) so the pilots moved on to the planned back up target - Nagasaki.
Blown away by Cillian's insightful approach in terms of best rendition ever whether in PB, Dunkirk, A quiet place, Anna, the latter movie or any other movie he has been in. He's really an added value and an amazing actor 😍
Great interviews! It is a pleasure to have an interviewer who is intelligent and informed. Excellent questions and allowed actors to give full answers. Really appreciated your professionalism.
The host for this interview - Brandon Davis, it says that's his name. We'll he's the best interviewer I've heard in years, and he should rise through the ranks quickly.
This interviewer asks excellent questions of his guests and with a spot-on balance of respect, self-assurance, and authentic engagement with the material. 👏🏼
Another cracker of an interview! Im really impressed with the junket interviews I've seen over the past 2 days. FINALLY, interviewers who ask Cillian fresh questions and we, the audience, are rewarded with thoughtful answers. Its exciting not to see him nod off to dull question after dull question, for once!!
Great interviews! Great questions! Great interviewer! Finally! Most of the time I find myself cringing during these press interviews because of the lame questions that are often asked. It's nice to find these rare cringe-free interviews! Thank you!
@@BrandonDavisBD Don't change Brandon. I can see you love your job and that makes the interviews lovely for us and I bet for the actors as well. Thanks!
Just came here to write this! Amazing interview. The interviewer is just as passionate about the movie as the actors and it shows. You won a follower, Brandon!
@@BrandonDavisBD You're welcome! You really do deserve all of these positive comments! You recognized the opportunity you were given and you came prepared! Fantastic job!
I've been watching a bunch of interviews with the cast for this film, and I think this guy Brandon Davis is one of the better interviewers. Most of the other interviewers seem to either always ask the same questions, or are so obviously trying too hard to be clever and to make the interview about them and how clever they are. This guy is engaging and not a ham
“I am sure that at the end of the world, in the last millisecond of the Earth’s existence, Man will see what we have just seen.” - George Kistiakowsky, after seeing the first atomic test “Trinity” July 16, 1945
I am buying iMax tickets for my entire family to see this. I don't think many of them even know what they're going to be watching, certainly my wife doesn't. But it's gonna happen.
Hey Brandon , if you are reading this , it would be amazing if you give me a one line genuine review of the film without spoiling it of course. Nice interview though
I can later this week, I’m not allowed to share my opinion just yet. But you can get a tease of it at the start of these interviews! Best I can do for now
These lot are liars. Pretending to 'read' a Nolan script. They saw 'Nolan' was directing, and they immediately all responded 'where do I sign?' Let's not beat around the bush guys.
So your point??? That’s like saying I “pretended” to read the script, but it was Martin Scorsese directing. I can guarantee you, many actors/actresses have wanted to work with certain directors (Nolan for example) and in those phone calls for movies will often times explain what it is going to be about. Especially with Nolan, you can probably expect some insanely good writing and storytelling
Did Cillian get plastic surgery for this role, or right after? Dude looks way different..Cheeks are puffed up, probably Botox/other filler..jaw is way more defined, probably implants in those as well
He had to lose quite a bit of weight for this role, and already regained some of it. I think it has something to do with that. There's a good interview with him on the guardian.
The movie falls way short of any historical value, its just about a group of actors playing dress up in 1940's wardrobe and a producer trying to show off. There is only one generation left who understands what this time in history was all about. And it doesn't include these people. It basically amounts to a high school play with a slightly larger budget. And of course all the actors will run around praising themselves and the producer, they want to work again again and actors can bring on the hype.
Cillian deserves an Oscar for his voice alone.
Literally 😭😂😂😂😂🖤
He has a soft Cork accent.
@@seandoyle2983yeah it’s faded a bit over the years unfortunately
And his face
I love him. Such a phenomenal actor. I can't wait to c this movie

Yes- I absolutely love his range
Cillian is just simply amazing. My wife and I binged Peeky Blinders during the pandemic and I was blown away by Cillian's performance.
One of the best shows ever made, not a single dull moment in the entire six seasons. Can’t wait for the movie!
Cillian is scary good.
Cillian Murphy is finally getting his due. Always been a very reliable presence on film.

I Think Cillian Should Start Narrate Some Audiobooks
He is the narrator of a show, about games or smth. But same, I need it hahahah

I love his body language especially while sitting in an interview
Love when interviewers ask actors about the actual CRAFT of acting rather than who hung out or hooked up with who on set. Nobody cares.
He's a wonderful actor. I also cannot believe he's nearly 50, he does not look it!

He's always had those insane cheekbones and jawline. Losing weight and ageing shrinks face fat making some features more prominent which I see here.
