This covers the fact that rotating the entire setup 180 degrees would yield an identical setup, as well as the fact that two tiles (the empty and the cross section) could be considered to not matter much however they are rotated. For the exact formula: n! x 4^i x 2^j x 1^k / z, where: n is the number of tiles for the setup, i, j, and k are the number of tiles with 4, 2 or 1 orientation, and z is either 4, 2, or potentially 1, depending on whether or not you can rotate the entire setup by 90, or 180 degrees to reproduce an identical setup.
I think it depends on how high you build. My preferred set up is 3x3 but I only have 5 tiles that go to 5" in height. I certainly think 7 tiles is a good option and I've recently been experimenting with all sorts of sizes from 3x4 to asymmetric sizes similar to the 7 tile set up. Each offer a unique challenge and I'd recommend players try out all sizes of table.

I think the height of your cross tile could be why you don't like it so much, I prefer a greater mix between one and two pieces in height as I think it adds to the derelict feel of the Underhive and it's cheaper as well... but mainly so I can get my shovel like hands in between the corridors ;-) I dislike the U shaped tile the most but the one I have is the old Forge World tile. If I was to reproduce it in plastic I would be sure to include a door section in one of it's side walls or use some stairs to add ease of access to the other side. yea, the cross tile I want to recreate (and have done so twice now) to. make it more intersting. But I do prefer the T-shaped one as it offers a lot more options, or is easier to use with others. Yea, I do ignore the one troll :D But he is good for the channel. He creates interaction by commenting. Which is good for me as a small channel. He thinks he is making me angry, but I am actually happy. He constantly comments within 2 hours of my uploads. This creates high interactions. He views, places a thumbs down and comments. Its a dream come through for content creators. He interacts optimally. :D I could take away his comments, but I wont, because I want him to continue what he is doing.

So far, only one level high, but I'll make some which are two levels or higher... as a result I've got spare walkways but I think they'll get used rapidly as soon as I start working on those upper levels.
@@angelicdespot2735 One level is super great to be honest. It makes it look a bit larger regarding the gaming area. Also, you can have some parts 2 levels high. These sections in my recommendation would be where you have objects that are 5” high.

Man, this is amazing but also makes me sad. I *really* wish I could've gone this route with my board - I picked up a LOT of walls/columns and stairs/platforms sets and ended up selling them because the plastic ZM tiles haven't been in stock in the US since March 2020 (and I'm not paying $150+ per kit to profiteering douchebags on ebay) and the ZM terrain is essentially worthless without them to keep the pieces locked in place.
Man I am sad to hear that. And it has been a huge issue with the ZM tiles for sure. But hold out, they will come back in stock eventually once this blasted pandemic passes over to some extent.
Hey. Due to starting up a gaming club/studio/store. As well as my former company called me back earlier to start flying again. But there are plans down the line to get started again with videos. We are now four people involved. So I am hoping I can get started soon enough.

I agree with you totally! I love the 7 tile setup. 4 tiles can be to small, but I do think it works for fast pasted games. Depends on the scenario.
