Interesting, what accent or dialect are you following? I’m American, so I just shared what it sounds like here. It’s all about preference I suppose, but I don’t recognize those sounds for those phrases. Thanks for sharing!
"conversational english", cool, I learnt "kings english" at school (Germany). On my experience, worldwide, no one in the english speaking world speaks "kings english" except the queen, she spoke "queen's english" of course. Unfortunately, I never met her, she was very funny, indeet. What a pity. But, well, in Germany, we define, what english is. And how the world has to heat its houses these days.
That’s very interesting! I think king’s English is probably pretty different from what I’m used to. It would have been a dream to meet the queen. I am sure she had plenty of stories to tell! Are you still in Germany?
