You can't be blamed for that goal at all no pen is meant to be saved, however if you keep your body and shoulders straight towards the ball and don't turn your shoulder away from that rebound you would have saved that rebound.

I've been watching your games and while I think you're a good goalkeeper, I have some professional advice. I've noticed you tend to turn your head and consequentially your body also when faced with very close shots. The most obvious example is after the very nice penalty save. Besides not giving you any chance to react to the shot, it also makes your body smaller. I know the instinct is to protect your face, but sometimes you just have to take it. I used to play futsal at a very high level and the coach would tell me to put my hands behind my back and then he would shoot towards me and asked me not to flinch. While this exercise sounds very sadistic (it was) and painful (it definitely was), it did teach me to stop fearing getting hit in the face and in my career helped me do some nice saves with my head when the ball was shot in the general direction. Anyways, just a tip from a fellow gk! Otherwise, keep up the good work!
