For me, it's not nostalgia. The gameplay is actually better, more physical, opponent ai is decent compared to the current versions and gives you a challange,which is very important when you want to play career mode. Attacking ai is miles away from what is in eafc.
fifa 16 was heavily scruntized at the time too i remember but its more nostalgic cause of the time period and all
I guess it's personal preference, I can't say it's nostalgia, since I've bought a copy in jan and got like 250h on it, and I love it. I bought both fifa 22 and 23, played carrer mode (I try basically to go through multiple seasons, if the game is good, I can get up to like 10) and it was extremely easy to dominate the ai, at all levels in the carreer. So I stop on the 2-3 season. Also played eafc in game rooms, and really I can't do that for more than a few hours, cause the gameplay is in a very bad place.

Honestly, the demo was the best version of FIFA 16. That fut draft when it first hit, and it was free in the demo and I used to sit there with my mates just trying to build the best squad then trying to beat the legendary AI
I only played the ultimate team version on mobile but it was so fun but I played fifa 17 it was sick

Yes it was,the same with Xbox one and the Kinect, if you cursed, and the Mic picked it up, the player you where controlling would get a Yellow Card.

@@Wicked758 I'd take 17. Fifa 16 I mainly hated how a player's stamina ran out so quickly and long shots were quite OP. I'm obviously biased with my pick because I consider Fifa 17 peak fifa gameplay(was not too easy to score goals like it's successors and player movement when attacking and defending just made sense).
