lpg has no lubrication so it can fuck up your engine quickly you have to run it on petrol in-till the car is at optimum temp then it automatically goes on to lpg hence in the uk range rovers are cheep as chips as people have converted them to lpg and they have valve problems and injector problems ect ect i worked on a ford exsplore 4l v6 on lpg fucked mate valves throttle body injectors ect ect :)

It has about 400K kilometres on the engine, and it's still rollin' good. Just keep the motor oil clean and plenty, and it goes till the end of the world, even on gas. Man, it hasnt seen a drop of pertrol in the last 5years, since the fuel pump died. It runs directly on lpg
ThePeca1988 there are taxis in romania that run on lpg. they have renault logan 1.4, 1.6 petrol engines that run over 500k km on lpg without any issues, if maintained properly. so, no worries!

John Moore He is right thought, I have E36 drift car and running it on gas just for lifestyling is silly. My Berlingo 1.6 16v does 43mpg 6.5l/100km. What we are saying is get 318/316 or something lol :)
Any comment on the coilovers yet? Did you had any problems by now?...because they are actually good (when you look at the spec) but the money just isn't right, so i'm afraid to buy them...because i don't want to throw money in trash

Oh man, ich habe damals mit meinen 320i 12L verbraucht. Da kam ich mit 20€ nicht hin :/. Jetzt fahr ich ein e38 740i da kann ich die 20€ nach 10min vollgas Tanken ^^
Marco. K haha beim 740i kein Wunder ^^ momentan zahle ich 63 cent pro Liter Gas, ich schaffe es momentan, da ich nicht mehr so viel fahre, mit 60-70€ im Monat. Das hat schon was ;)
Ja gut das ist schon was anderes^^. Aber Gas tuh ich mein Auto nicht an. Habe da damals schlechte Erfahrung mit gemacht. Mussten ewig die Ventile neu eingestellt werden, fing an zu klackern usw ( war ein Mitsubishi Outlander 06 ) Naja auf jedenfall bin ich trotz des hohen Verbrauch glücklich mit mein Auto. Der verbrauch stört nicht wenn man 7er fährt. Sowas muss man beim kauf einplanen. Was mich echt nur wundert ist, das mein 320 damals 12L Verbraucht hat und jetzt mit mein 740 bei normaler Fahrt in der Stadrt ein Verbrauch von 15L hat. Also entweder hatte ich ein anderen Fahrstil mit mein 3er ( was ich vermute^^) oder er war kaputt xD Aber die 3L ist echt nicht viel. Gut über vollgas Fahrten brauch man nicht reden :D Aber es macht spaß. Du hast den Ci richtig? Also e46? Automatik oder schalter?

Sind halt die mangetischen Ventile die dann sehr langsam öffnen und schließen, was man dann hören soll. Hat mir mein Gasfritze auf jeden Fall so erklärt... Der 740i hat doch einen V8 oder? Und wiegt fast ne Tonne mehr oder? ^^ so kommt der Verbrauch zu Stande, denke ich ^^ Und der Sound den er bei Vollgas macht verleitet ja leider auch dazu ^^ Jep ich habe einen 320Ci E46 mit 5-Gang Schalter und komplettem M-Paket II serienmäßig. Macht echt Spaß der Kleine :D Muss mal wieder nen Video online stellen :D

Monty81mc Natürlich fährt man zum TÜV, da Mängelscheine die beste Methode ist um Geld zu bekommen. Außerdem hat das auch was mit Sicherheit zu tun. Bedenke dass beim TÜV idR nur studierte Leute arbeiten, und entweder kannst du es nach §21 eintragen, und wenn nicht, dann hat das seine Gründe.
