    Thank you for arranging the tenses as past, present, and future. Most of us learn the concept of time and tenses in this order, but most conjugation tables have different arrangements that I find confusing. Your method here is excellent. I wish I had many more verbs in this learning format. Thank you so much!

    There are 18 different versions to conjugate each verb. It sounds like a nightmare scenario. 😢😢😢 take the verb TO DRINK in English. I drank, you drank, he/she drank, we drank, you drank, they drank.. Compare it to its Spanish conjugation. In Spanish, We have 6 versions for drank???? Help me, God. if there is a God, of course.😂😂😂

      Oh, my goodness! As a Taiwanese, when using our Traditional Chinese, in this case, drink is always one word which is 喝,I 喝, you喝, he/she喝, we喝, you喝, they喝, 😂there are not even past, present and future forms of the verbs. It only presents past and future tenses with other words. I think learning Spanish would challenge me more than English and Japanese.😅

      In Spanish, and a few other languages, each verb is conjugated to the person; it’s about 6 versions per tense. That’s the reason why the pronouns are not required.
      But there are some tricks to learn them faster. The regular verbs ending in ER, AR and IR follow patterns and are easier to learn.
      There are irregular ones that need to be learn by heart.

    Dear Liliana, I think 'hay' from haber is not informal of anything, it is the impersonal third person, equivalent of there is and there are, and is not part of the conjugation of the auxiliary haber.

    • @SpanishWithLiliana
      @SpanishWithLiliana  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, the impersonal form hay is used to point out the existence or presence of something in a particular place, so yes, there is/there are.

    • @SpanishWithLiliana
      @SpanishWithLiliana  Год назад +1

      Hi there, you'll need to come up with a plan to get you speaking as fast as possible.
      If you need Spanish for school, you'll need to learn a lot of grammar and structures.
      If it's to travel or daily conversation, words and phrases will help you most. It all depends on what you need the Spanish for.
      Once you have that identified, then it's better to start with the Spanish that's specific to your situation.
      Some topics to get you started:
      - Personal pronouns (subject and object)
      - Top 25-50 verbs: past, present and future simple (you can learn the other tenses later)
      - Common everyday nouns (those specific to your daily life)
      - Common adjetives (colors, size, emotions, etc)
      - Common conjunctions (and, or, but, if, etc)
      - Spanish sentence structures
      - How to introduce yourself
      - Small talk about the weather, traffic, sports
      I hope this helps 🤗

    It is not correct to translate GUSTAR as To Like but rather To Taste when used in a simple transitive form. When it implies To Like, the Object in the English sentence becomes Subject in the Spanish sentence, e.g. in 'I like milk', milk is direct object, but in 'me gusta la leche', la leche is subject...

      @@SpanishWithLiliana To be honest, it is a tricky one, and keeping it out of the list would have been better. In my opinion the use of the form Me gusta/Me gustan deserves a separate lesson as it is an impersonal form and never conjugated. It is the object that changes (me, te, le, nos, etc...) while the subject is always 3rd person (singular or plural). I hope this helps...
