It understeers because the differential is completely locked. You have to use the handbrake, unless you just power oversteer. Or tune the differential. Edit: I was talking about the first car. You can also tune every rear wheel drive car into a drift car, just by locking the differential. The spool, I believe. Switch the setting to 'on' at the top of the differential tune screen. Then you can power oversteer very easily.
RickyBrosh Racing oh lol! It sounds amazing in my opinion and it constantly wants to stick its tail out! I love your videos btw keep up the great work!
@@acarguy3773 Is that the one with 4 gears? I like 4. I'm guessing it's weight is more at the front. Front engine. Easier to hold a drift. I ended up on the Nordschleife at night whilst realising that there's no head lights!!!
I have a good drift tune for the Audi RX car. I tuned it on a dry BRNO. You don't need a handbrake to drift it. Because I don't have one. It doesn't lift off oversteer either. It's just right. It's mostly about the differential.
@@British-Dragon-Simulations yep that's the one I think. Yeah, the weight is all on the front wheels and it has skinny old tyres and decent amounts of power and torque so as soon as you breathe on the throttle the rears try to spin and the soft suspension let's the body roll through the corners throwing the rear off balance and forcing you to drift. Trying to get a clean decent lap is probably more difficult then drifting it! Oh lol! Nice! I don't tend to use the rally Cross cars but I'll give it a go at some point. Brno is a great track for drifting. If you want a fun combo try the mustang round Monaco (or Azure Circuit as it's called in PC2) its actually a really fun combo.
This has no baring to what drifting is in order to have a drift car you need a tune evan you said drifting is not ur thing and 4 cars you set out drifting has nothing to do with drifting first off every corner you went in you went in that corner with too much speed causeing you to break and you use the E-brake to get the rear end out for drifting in just gonna say this dint make a video on something you don't know nothing about
i dot know why but i hate drifting in pcrs2. i really prefer ac when it comes to drifting. but i tink the very best is the projevt drift od for rfactor2. everybody who likes drifting and has rf2 sold really try it!
You need to tune the car. Especially the differential. Then you can tweak the suspension and slow rebound to manage weight transfer. I'm very inexperienced to drifting but I can make and record a great 2 minute drifting video at BRNO, just after a couple of laps. I usually use the Audi RX and I don't use the handbrake, because I don't have one. I just use weight transfer and power oversteer. Don't overcorrect because when the rear wheels bite and gain traction you will get aggressive snap oversteer that you can't recover from. 9° of wheel rotation helps with the Audi RX too. Switch off all 'lift off differential' as well. Front and rear. It will help with turn in and then you can start drifting with the throttle. Learn to hold the angle. Point the wheel to where you want to go. Don't over correct. It's easy when you work this out and very fun!
Hey man I'm probably going to be buying this game tomorrow but I was wanting to know if it's even worth getting it before I have a wheel? I'm going to be buying a wheel as soon as I get a little more money saved up. I played the original on the controller and it was awful but I heard that it's a lot better on this one. What are your thoughts?
I'm here to find the "sense" of this little DLC, because I've tried to drift with controllers several times, but it's literally impossible and very frustrating with zero fun or satisfaction!
@@Mr.Wolf_947 I actually can show you how to change your controls to be able to control a decent drift. After I put that comment I set out to find controls to be able to control a drift and I did

I know this is kind of old but I drift with controller and just got the hang of the mx5 cause of how much power it has. Just turn down the boost. Also the Mustang is so, much, better then these cars cause it has power but stability. The radbull doesn't.

The old Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback is a great car for going sideways, if you haven't tried it then you definitely should.

one thing i hate about this game is no engine swaps to make whatever car you want driftable
For the people will start in the P.C.2 drift world, use the ford focus :)
How do you learn so quick?! I spent 3 hours on Mazda race way with the MX5 and I’m not even a tenth as good as you. Guess I’m just super 💩
Hah you're not! It's really hard, dont remember how long i spent but it is really difficult
Nice video, but I have a question what maps are those.
Make sure to pratice throttel control so u dont spin out i did this in assetto corsa.
Nissan GTR is good too
The only time I drift is by accident....just before meeting the armco!
