Wasn't sure how I felt about Garrett as an OC and HC but I do enjoy how depth of knowledge and perspective as an analyst.

@@jaknap185-67 as a head coach isn’t a “disaster” by any means. Not even close. You want a disaster of a head coach? Urban Meyer, Hue Jackson, Nathaniel Hackett, I mean I can go on. Those ones should be the ones considered disasters not Garrett

@jaknap1 well, now they got Brian Schottenheimer. Dallas should start planning the title parade now.

I hope this doesn't mean the Rams are going to own us even more. McVay owns Kyle Shanahan and his system.

Koobs will be a notable upgrade. All things the same, including the o-line, we’ll win 13 or 14 games with the change to Koobs at OC.

How are we going to improve the Oline player talent? You can talk all about coaching but really it’s going to take more than that. We all can see where the Seahawks are weak. Guard play was terrible most of the season. You aren’t going to have a good outside run zone game without decent guard play. The Seahawks best running plays this season were dive plays to Zack Charbonnet. That’s how long they could hold a block. I don’t see Bradford being a good pulling guard. He’s more of big body down hill pusher. How are we going to find good players we can develop.? These OCs change ever year or two. They are first thing to go when the players fail.

@@westall1966nothing you said is wrong and yes, we need to address the line, esp the interior. The point I was making is that there was 2-4 games we should’ve won this past season, but inept play calling contributed greatly to losing those winnable games. A better play caller would’ve won those games in my opinion. That’s all I’m saying. While you took it further and brought up important deficiencies, I agree with you.

@@DuneMoose5 the issue would probably be the oline coach. I dunno if you noticed but weve been drafting oline players past few years the issue we are not developing them the way theyre supposed to be. Or our scouts are bad looking at olines? Look at Haynes we picked him up over Puni at the 49ers.

@@Mentaltoughness23 point taken, Kevin Bacon. Yeah, we need a good line coach. Rookie Scott huff wasn’t cutting it.

If you wanna run the ball, you build a REAL OL for the Players to succeed and the OC to keep his job. Seahawk Mgt and Coaches say EVERY YR = We wanna run the ball, but they fail because of no OL, and then fire the OC = INSANITY = Making the same mistakes expecting different results. Schneider must be fired if he fails again at this simple understanding.

I feel bad for Sam too, because he was brought into a new team, who was starting over with a new system and a bad OC, and Sam takes a hit. I know he's better than what we saw, even if not perfect. They don't have a head coach yet. There's no guarantee that head coach is going to want to keep him as an offensive coordinator anyways. That's why he took the job here
