The ECV100 series could have either the round muffler (27181A,B,C), rectangle-shape (33556 with side exhaust, or 33565 or 33566 with down exhaust) or pill-shaped muffler (34613).
The silver and black crapsman II push mower I have has the muffler going through the deck, and is dispersed by the blade underneath, but I think your missing the muffler that passes through the deck, cause the one I have is super quiet.
@@MowersNBlowers I was really kind of referring to the old original 2 cycle Lawn-Boy mowers more than the newer ones. Here in KY, We have the awful late mowing season crabgrass that is prevalent right now unless you have your lawn treated. You have to have some really sharp blades to cut that crap and plan on going over it twice.
I have a gray craftsman that looks the same as that green mower and the dipstick won't stay on but other than that it is a good mower looks like crap too
good chance it is the head gasket on the side the push rod bent. as that side over heated and caused the guide to move and possibly caused a bad head gasket.
Henry let me put you on pause for a minute while I check ✔ the batteries 🔋 🔋 in my 👂 🙉 👂 hearing aid ... I thought I heard you say you were going to READ THE 📚 INSTRUCTIONS.... LMAO
Did you check the valve clearance on both sides of that twin engine and the rod guides on both? Hey, I have the same compression tester kit. It's on the shelf if needed.
I had to go back to one of your videos from three years ago to find out where the muffler is supposed to be. You have had to many tecumseh engine mowers bro. It would give me nightmares! 🤯🤪 🇺🇸Roger #StopAsianHate

The old style tecumseh mufflers go out through a hole in the frame under the deck, right around where the muffler is supposed to go.
Good info bro! I’ll look underneath next time

@@MowersNBlowers Thank you, and yes I am subbed to you.
👍
I had an old Tecumseh like that with the big primer bulb. Mine had a small round muffler but it wasn't exactly the same as yours.
Probably underneath the deck on the Tecumseh engine but that's a first for me seeing this style of engine

Henry, remove and read the spark plugs, easy peasy !
Great video Henry! Really a great way to end the day! I have some random mower parts I might send you.
The Lawn-Boy muffler was underneath the mower deck. Usually with the underside muffler, There was usually never any grassy build up.
Really, that’s where grass would build up
