Weirdly stalker-ish but i remember you did a sketch with Alison where she was trying to encapsulate her whole personality in an outfit for a date, you say that it's impossible to do that, and then the camera pans down to reveal you're wearing a shirt that says 'FRIES BEFORE GUYS' and a mug that sats 'MALE TEARS'. You are the chief of millennial comedy dressing.
"when 2015 comes back into fashion I got the shirts ready" - says Gabe after 10 minutes telling us he doesn't know where any of his clothes have disappeared to
lol to me, you are THE millennial. i work on the local queer film festival and i’ve been telling everyone i’m so excited for ‘my comfort millennial’s’ debut feature
Gabe the way you talked about your senior photo really hit with me😂 fellow ex-manic pixie dream girl and I wore a Pokémon tshirt to my “quirky” photos.
I'm not proud to admit this but one of your graphic tees from the old sketches triggered a bit of a story for me. It's the Lumberjanes shirt you're wearing in the 'WHAT ABOUT THE BRUNETTE?' video. I liked the shirt so much I tracked one down for myself and then thought 'well, I have to read the comic too now, so as not to be a poser'. It's now my niece's favourite comic and we read it whenever she comes over. I'm plannign to give her the shirt when she's big enough.
Hey Gabe! - Love (and loved) every incarnation of you… Your ability to both be deeply intellectual, and simultaneously playful and silly is a quality that I hope you never lose. I love the fact that you can look back and recognize that you were (as you stated) “trashy 🔥🔥🔥” then… I would argue that you are STILL 🔥🔥🔥 in your embrace of your male self. I love the fact that you and Alison continue to put out content that is serious at times, yet often hilarious. I love that you BOTH share your vulnerabilities, and talk about issues that many of us face. Obviously, in that sense, the content you have done together in recent years has had a depth that your earlier content (all those wonderful skits). I STILL wish you guys would script out a few skits for old time’s sake! I’d love to see how you’d play “Gabe” in a skit (and see what situations fictional “Gabe” would find himself in…. And how “fictional “Alison” would react). As someone who has always identified as trans myself, it is ALWAYS good to see others who have embraced their own gender diversity. We are wonderfully complex, and as difficult as our existences may be… ESPECIALLY in such hateful and vitriolic times, it is nice to know that we are in this struggle together. Your discussion and analysis about your old t-shirts exemplifies how deep down we are just people. Just as mundane. Just as boring…. But FABULOUS and 🔥🔥🔥!!!
this is completely off topic, but i would love to see a check in with current you on buffering the vampire slayer, i think that would be neat, and it would give jenny an excuse to re-do your jingle
7:08 i still have that shirt. i must've bought it around the time that video was posted, i think you might've had a link to it in the description? not sure.

This was EXACTLY the skit I was thinking of when clicking on this lmao
"This is a summary at best" lmao
“This says ‘bisexual and still not into you’. I got this at the White House…” you can’t fathom the mental damage I took from hearing this so casually
Welcome to Trump presidency!

I have like 2 of these shirts
As a buzzfeed star you are a millennial icon, a muse of the era like Grace Kelly. The graphic tees are art history

My fave is "bisexual and still not into you". I think pins & badges are the gen z version of graphic tees, and i would love a badge with that on it
I had a shirt from Delia’s with a taco saying “hola” and french fries saying “bonjour” and I was OBSESSED with it

This is beside the point but all the JBU doggies are so freaking cute!!! I've yet to meet a nice Chihuahua but Beans looks like such a sweetheart! 🥹

As a millennial, I would wear any of these right now today. Which is I believe what I said the last time you posted an outfit review video 😂
Real talk here-Gabe is THE millennial
what does the graduation t-shirt says?? I'm blind as a bat
It says "Made in the 80s"
SUCH a trendsetter
Gabe I'm so sorry to say but I always thought you were hideously millennial even at the time 💔
