A good game of the topic talked about around the 10:00 mark is Mario and Rabbids Sparks of hope. It had multiple options of purchase on the switch, the big one being the gold edition: which gave special skins, and all dlc (which we didnt entirely know what it was at the time) it allows people to put faith into a game without charging extra for skins. Its similar to the steam game, but i really appreciate games with those kind of options. Also the gold edition was $90 bucks. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT IF YOU LOVE RPG AND WILL 100% IT! Edit: I know who Blizzard is nowadays when they merged with Activison it got worse. Last good game I think they made was skylanders swap force and sea of thieves before they got real greedy to a degree.
What you could do too is a meetup where you play together in-person, so we could see you communicate together and see how well you guys play together! It would be fun to see, and also, keep up the podcasts, they are great to listen to!
Yeh a Tower defense is cool and all but do you know what a million dollar idea is? We need a Pokemon Apple + Pokemon Android mainline games that would get updated regularly to add some pokemons from console games Acts as advertisement for Console games and would solve the need for people playing competitive on Pokemon Showdown if they nail the ladder system

i dont think so. Its been years since the game released. Sure being in a beta longer helps but you cant plan things 3-4 years ahead and CR is already 7 years old.
The thing about Genshin, is they make billions of dollars of their addicting slot machine for children and best case scenario the actuall artists, programmers ect get 0.001% of that money. Even if the work of these people is monumental, it really doesnt justify putting a whole casino in a game for kids. They probably make enough money from ONE banner to pay all the developers FOR A YEAR. I dont agree with OJ and Kairos on the fact that games need to have constant updates and that they need to have microtransactions to keep updating. I would much rather pay a certain amount first, and not deal with gambling, microtransaction skins, or any p2w at all but get no updates. I dont know anything about baldurs gate, but im pretty sure the skins OJ mentioned exist, and can just be grinded for, no payment.
Oj as much as you like defend micro transactions, you need to see the cruelty of it in many mobile games. And it has started to become the favorite business model for the mobile game developers. In a game where spending money can give you a high advantage over other people, the f2ps are treated as NPCs who are there just to suffer and make the spenders feel better

One of the first mobile games I spent money on was Pixel Gun 3D and that’s when I was younger than 12 I believe. I’m 19 now
