The best way is to just let VTOL mode raise your raiju a little bit off the ground and then switch to jet mode. So much faster than this. Best part is while you are switching from VTOL mode to jet mode, you have a few seconds to rotate the plane on to the direction you want to go by pressing left/right rudders

Okay, the backwards takeoffs I didn't know. Those are for style. There is the standard VTOL takeoff where you just ascend and get airborne. Then there is the standard forward takeoff where you just not use VTOL and just hit the gas and take off like a normal jet. Then there is a more stylish rocket take off where you start in VTOL, and then switch to normal when pointed upwards, thus shooting straight into the air. I love how the Raiju is able to disappear from radar like the Akula. A stealth fighter like the Raptor IRL which is able to slip past detection. I think GTA Online would be a lot better if the GPS tracking wasn't always on, but rather, required you to contact Lester for it, and toggling tracking for other players was within your vacinity, and put your blip on the map. But going off-radar as a temporary thing would still be balanced. Everyone is off-radar by default, and even cargo. That way doing cargo would be a lot less stressful.
