Freesia, I love yoU!! Girl you're not lost...we have super similar driven-personalities, here's my advice when I've been in similar panics. 1. Forget about finding goals and focus on yourself for a bit - stretch, dance (i love tahitian dance tutorials, tryyy it!!), smell good, swim, and *tune into nature/forests 30 minutes everyday.* 2. Twice a day, put aside 5 minutes (more or less depending on how you feel) in which you do this one thing, and one thing only: Close your eyes, straighten back + neck and relax shoulders + hips, then inhale/exhale and keep it going for the 5 minutes. Inhale with nose from from the abdomen area by pulling air up from deep down there, and then exhale through mouth. I'm almost certain that if you try out #2 for a few days, it will clarify your feelings for you. Living alone ain't easy, and like you said "Everyone's just trying to figure it out". Tuning into + touching nature/trees/rocks/grass/water is a GREAT help as well - wish you the best in everything!!!
as someone who moved to a new city, moved into my dream apartment, and started a new job at a company I’ve always wanted to work at, I FEEL u on still feeling empty and not knowing what I’m doing anymore after “accomplishing my goals”🥺 but I think it’s just a part of the process…I realized I tend to be impatient when it comes to wanting to see results and feel accomplished, but good things take time to happen! So I’m constantly reminding myself to celebrate the small wins and learn to be comfortable with the unknown…easier said than done but we got this :)
Krystal Qin, you are correct. As an older woman who has been up & down throughout the years, I can validate what you and Freesia are experiencing is part of the life path. Life is never on a continuously upward path. It’s normal to question, doubt, even feel anxious … when I finally understood that l would always have these feelings, I learned to turn inward for strength and meaning. To some extent, life is what you make it. That may sound too simple and superficial to you now. But, that’s been my path.
I think the moment youtubers quit their 9 to 5 job, the channel turns into living for the vlog instead of vlogging about their life, especially if they are lifestyle related. I’ve hear may content creators talk about this… so you’re not a lot by any means. I hope you take time to reflect and be with your own thought. Sending you lots of love 💕💕
Identity and purpose should always come from “being”, rather than “doing”. Goals are exciting and motivating but who we are should always be internal, not just what we do. True joy can never be found in achievement. Cliche as it may sound, deeper and true purpose and meaning must come in your identity before your career and life choices. I find mine in my faith in God. Hope you find yours too!
Highly recommend to read “101 essays that will change how you think”, the book really helps in times like this. There’s a chapter about the feeling of more with goals. Hope this helps :)
I feel like so many of us feel the same way. I find it helps to spend some time taking care of yourself and not think too much about needing to have goals or feeling bad about stagnation. Life is a journey to be enjoyed and every step of the way you're learning and growing naturally. So it's ok, take your time and everything will work out 💜
being your own boss is great and all but you need to have a purpose, reason or something (or someone, or a whole community) to do all of it for. thats why many youtubers create their own brands or projects that go outside the virtual space. they create community based on something they strongly believe in.
Sounds like a valid point that Freesia needs to consider. Being a master of one's fate and meshing their fate/career/lifestyle so tightly together, I would feel like I'm tying knots around me stifling creativity and options. It seems goals/objectives were identified but they were short term goals and not mid and long term goals and objectives. Maybe reflection and defining what is desired needs to refocused, so that one doesn't wander aimlessly and wasting time and resources.
What are you doing? You're doing Life. Wanting different things, Part of the game. You will never stop learning, thinking, growing, changing, wanting more. You live in an amazing place. Great weather, so many things to explore. Being a light to others. Making them smile is so rewarding. You have been given a great opportunity with your growing you tube channel. I have faith you can find your " thing" and we will be with you all the way!! Love from Destin Florida. Ani. ❤🧡💛🌈🌞🌺🦋🏝💯💥
I’m honestly interested in what ppl who jumped on the “I quit my 9 to 5” bandwagon would say 5-10 years from now. Will it actually put them in a better situation mentally, emotionally and financially? I personally can’t do it because of the lack of structure, like you said, and the lack of accountability to meet external expectations (highly recommend this book called The Four Tendencies) An occasional 1-2 week break from grad school is usually enough to recharge me. Anything longer and I start feeling this way too.
"I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure. My heart took delight in all my labor, and this was the reward for all my toil. Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun."-Ecclesiastes 2:10-11. I feel what you are saying and went through it before I realized my emptiness was so connected to my relationship with the One who created me. Seek God and you will attain all the joy and fulfillment even in the smallest things you do. He is actually that higher 'purpose' we seek. Love your videos by the way, beautiful and so relaxing.
i think defining what happiness means is extremely important. it seems like bc of social media there's a constant hype to change whenever you're not happy. not happy at work- quit, not happy in life- move cities and expecting everything will be 'different' which isn't true for many ppl. i think many of us fail to understand that our habits, our mindset and energy constantly changes. just bc our external environment change doesn't mean that we change as a person too. that feeling of happiness is only temporary until we settle in in our new space and everything will be the same again that is until we find another external stimulation. setting goals like getting a new job, new apartment, get that degree etc are all materialistic goals. maybe we should find happiness in the mundanes of life. going out for coffee- doing nothing but painting all day, without any external validation but only from yourself. it can be both peaceful and terrifying at the same time to be alone.
Thank you Freesia for being so straight to the point about your crisis and you are NOT alone as well! I also have a ton of autonomy and freedom in my job and have been WFH for over a year now. Im in my late twenties and the feeling of loneliness, having unclear goals, and lack of motivation have been getting worse and worse. It truly feels like a new adaptation to life for me and I hope we can all get through it with courage and confidence because we have always been the same person at the end of the day. Your channel is blossoming Freesia, because of your realness and humanity that you are addressing a prevalent issue that ppl don't share enough about.
You need people to share your achievements with..take a trip to New York city and visit your girls...sometimes in life we don't always need to be reaching for a specific gold sometimes it's ok to go with the flow until you're guided accordingly..you just your milestone faster than you expected...you can also consider a pet❤
I’m in a position where I’m partially retired at an early age. I find this abundant amount of free time so wonderful at first, but then realize my old life had structure that I now miss. Through good times and bad times our structure/ routines make us feel safe. The transition for me has been hard and I had to learn new routines. Working on projects that aren’t about myself is helpful. Find a purpose that is more than yourself and life seems to have more meaning… at least for me. Your path may not be typical, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Change and growth always hurt a bit. Good luck
Aim for happiness and settle for being content; everything else is just gravy. Or, as Kim Kardashian said, "I didn't come this far just to come this far and not be happy."
It might be worthwhile to volunteer for part of the week to help increase your sense of purpose. It may be easier since you are able to set your own hours
Going with the flow is where it’s at. Let life direct you where you need to be. Everyone has their own timing, it’ll get you there wherever and whenever that maybe as long as it’s meant to be. Don’t force anything, yesss…. Just always look back, don’t forget where you came from and keep patting your self for realizing how far you have come. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I felt this so hard when I moved to NY (my dream city) this summer. It’s amazing and I’m grateful, but I felt empty from putting so much stock into a single goal and then realizing that it wasn’t what was going to fulfill me. It wasn’t until I started refocusing my attention on my relationships that I felt at peace again. Success won’t make us happy, which is why the peaks are always anticlimactic. It’s our connection to others that let us truly shine. ✨💕
After I got my dream job, I honestly started to feel like I needed to go after it. I am happy with my job but now should I be going for a job that’s more difficult? I feel like sometimes it feels like I’m in an endless cycle and we are being programmed to be that way… almost being forced into a “hustle culture” a bit too. I know you said you hope that we don’t feel alone in this journey… I hope you also feel that you are not alone in this ❤️ sending you lots of love!
Hey dear Freesia I got the same feeling when I got my professional title couple years ago. I think the key is the journey that we have experienced not just chasing after goals. As human beings we will probably never be satisfied as our desire cannot be fulfilled, even with money, fame, personal achievements, etc. And I realized family is the source of my happiness and hopefully you will find yours 😀. Just letting you know you are not alone in this and it’s perfectly normal that you feel this emptiness, we’ve all been there. Struggles and hardships made us grow, so I feel that in the process of searching and reflecting, you are at a stage of growth and progression . Good luck and looking forward seeing more content of yours 😀
To make you (and some of the watchers) feel better... i graduated college almost a year ago and i still have yet to secure a full time job. For 10 months, ive been doing internships + part time jobs and its been that cycle cause i cant get a “real” full time job (have applied to ~250 jobs). maybe you should take a step back and realize how far youve come? I think being employed is just enough to be thankful and blessed. Just saying :)
It's totally normal to not know what to do. Just be okay with it. It's part of life and then sooner or later you will find what you need to achieve next. We are in a generation where we need to be doing something all the time, but it's okay to not do anything as well. But, I'm not saying to not do anything your whole life. Sometimes, its good to take a break. I hope this made sense!
Hi Freesia, I just wanna tell you that you are doing great! Just keep doing what makes you happy. Don't be hard to your self and don't rush everything. We are all in the same stage and we are just in time. Remember, the more you pressure your self the more you get exhausted. So Chill and Just keep goin!! WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU.❤❤❤
I appreciate your honesty; when stuck on yourself, look outside your world and give of your time and self, ergo volunteering; if physical, then maybe work on pumping the endorphins. Taking classes works, too, something outside your box or something closer, e.g., film making, acting, screen writing, after all, you're in LaLaLand!
Honestly feeling the same way, it’s like I have goals in front of me and then once it’s done I just forget or just loose sight of what I’ve already done because I feel like I gotta keep going higher.
I am on the point to quit my Job and make my Owen Business 🥰 After That i want to build my own house. But the situation is very complicated as the prices for a piece of land in germany are very high. 🥲
You will be just fine, don't put so much pressure on yourself. Easier said then done, I know lol. But seriously just be you, this is why subscribers are drawn to you and why we can relate. Keep making content that you like and take a break when you need one. All the best xo
I feel this 100% as someone who recently moved to CA as well and manifesting what I thought was what I wanted. But definitely feel lost and alone out here since I dont know anyone in CA. Thanks for sharing!
Exact same boat my guy I’ve wanted this for over a year but now that I’m financially stable and actively pursuing my goals in a new city it feels quite lonely and questioning whether i made the right decision. Glad to know we’re all going through something similar; best of luck !
In next QnA, can you do " how you manage your financial state / investment ideas "? please i need that and I think you are doing great thru being a full time youtuber 🥺💜
My goal is to become financially free so I can provide a better life for my Guatemalan parents because they are immigrants and they worked hard their entire lives and they're in their fifties now and they're still working so hard and I just want them to have a more fun life with less stressful/physically demanding work. I want to buy them a house with the mortgage paid off and give them the freedom to travel whenever they want. We all have different goals in mind but I'm hoping to get where you are soon!goodluck figuring out what you want out of life girl we arr rooting for you.
It just sounds like if you look at your daily calendar, and see where your time is going, then you will actually see how busy you really are chica!! YOU GOT THIS.. and keep in mind that even if you have a "not so busy day" you are still working on something amazing... there will be days you doubt yourself, but dang girlfriend look at what you've built.. I'm wayyyyyyyy older than you, but you sure have my admiration. 🥰❤❤
Could not resonate with this more! Thank you for telling me what I’ve been telling myself as I’m currently a little lost with life, it always sounds better when someone else is saying it! I’ve also made notes of things to add to my annual journal💕
I have that exact same feeling of once I achieve a goal; I’m always looking for the next project or next milestone because being idle makes me feel anxious. I think it’s partly the immigrant mentality of survival by working harder - I also blame the overworked corporate environment 😅. Often what I do is find a small controllable project in the meantime (like a home improvement project that would take 30 min - 2 hrs) or take a day off to go to a park and *vibe* or explore a new part of the city or attend a new event. Also taking care of plants or fostering animals gave me a sense of purpose and grounded me for a bit while I took time to figure out what I want to do next! Good luck to you and I can’t wait to see what you do next!
Thank you for posting this Freesia! About to get married soon and just been really refelcting my life so far. And I haven't accomplished as much as I wished. But that is more to look forward to achieve.
Alternate title "Lost in the sauce" lol. If you're looking to try out another cleansing balm the Heimish all clean balm is my go to. Thanks for putting out relatable content I really enjoy the random chats. You're awesome Freesia :)
ughsdlkfjsf the way ur vulnerability/genuineness impacts and touches me + so many others. i can def relate with u, esp when u said u tend to hyperfocus on reaching your goals and once u achieve em u think "now what" LOL, but there's also something so surreal about the unknown n the phases of "figuring it out." just kno that we luv u and want nothing but peace+blessings for u
may the process of figuring out what's next be smooth sailing for you freesia~~ It's been amazing to see you upload on such a consistent basis along with the growth of your editing! you're doing amazing :-)
It’s okay to be unsure of the overarching goal or dream that you’re working towards. However, living and working to try and reach specific milestones (e.g., hitting 100,000 subscribers, making $1M, etc.) is just living life as if it’s a moving goal post. In my opinion, people will continue to feel lost (and often times unhappy) until they figure out what really makes them happy and then build around that.
I also feel empty these days😵💫,,, But! cuz I want to be more productive and be an awesome person I literally don't stop thinking about me and the best "future map" for me. Although we can't see all the process CLEARLY that we're growing which is sooo sad, but u know what.. I want to say that the important thing is not giving up the"full-passion mind". It's weird that we really don't know that we are doing good, but if you keep going on, which is really FREESIA, I swear you will win those pains in front of you! We're all behind ya! Sending love from Korea! Cheer up unnie!
wow i can't believe your journal has lasted you that long. i think it's important to reflect and pivot - it's not pretentious to think of what's next after you achieve your goalpost. that's what it's for, a milestone/landmark before the next thing you set your eyes on!
HI FREESIA! Giving you a big virtual hug💙. My goal is to become a full time content creator (eventually) but I can understand how not having a set structure can lead to feeling unfulfilled in a way. Perhaps going to a specific place outside your home at specific times each day to edit would help. Either way you'll find your own path!💫
Me neither girl… 😂 thought I’d have my life together by this time, but nahhh. But just try to appreciate and enjoy this process aswell. Things come your way at the right time ❤️
Love what you're doing Freesia, thank you for sharing vulnerably and being so real with us💛 Sending love from Singapore, you're inspiring to keep going with my RUclips channel as well even though I've wanted to quit it multiple times :' ) I keep coming back after seeing you share these memories with people💛
Hi Fressia!!! I hope you are able to figure out what you want to do. Regardless of what you choose, I am thankful that I got to know more about you through YT! I love the way you use the word manifest and how you live by it. It inspired me to get over my shlump and work on myself. Thank you for your consistent videos and the sincerity you out into them.
would love to see you create some sort of business or side project of your own! jewellery, merch... something that truly speaks to you :)) will always support you in your endeavours!
Moonshot cushion has good coverage and staying power! Also love farmacy. Thanks for always being raw and honest - been feeling low and lost the past month, trying to push forward!
your inspiration!!!!! you don't it yet!!!!! Things sometimes get confused!!!!! burn out!!!!!! 🔥 you wait and 👀 it will give the answers you seek! quote from Bruce lee!!!!!!! another quote from him be water my friend. The answer is in front of you!!! it's what I learned that everyone goes through this!!! You are wise!!!!! the feelings are normal!!!!! 🤗 and 💋😘😗😚😙💋😘😗😚😙💋😘 love you girl!!!
Omg I totally relate to you!! I became an entrepreneur last year and I hit this high but as time goes on I’m losing structure and what really makes me happy.. each day just passes and idk why I’m doing what I’m doing anymore. I’ve achieved more than I thought at such a young age but now idk where I’m going.totally related to everything you said
I want to recomend you this book: 'The subtle art of not giving a f**k' by Mark Manson. It might explain why you are feeling lost after you've accomplished so much!
thanks for sharing this video. i liked it. you are an open and honest person. :) i know exactly how you feel. i set myself goals and i have achieved them too then felt lost, aimless and pointless. and i mean serious goals like becoming the creme de la creme of ... i will not disclose this. i think you are feeling the emptiness because you need meaning and purpose in your life. that usually comes from having some external altruistic goal like ... saving animals, or contributing towards the betterment of other humans for free like food shelters, helping with homelessness or something else that is not self directing but directed towards helping others .... for free. you'll get there.
I think everybody goes through that feeling sometimes! I feel it currently and want to change job, exit my comfort zone and continue my PhD, which exactly because I’m doing it while working and outside of the academic community seems very difficult 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ And I’m 45 Freesia🤣 It happens🤣🤣🤣😘
Thanks for sharing what you’re going through, those are all very valid and relatable feelings of, what next/now what? Curiosity is definitely a strong trait - I’m happy that you feel you’ve met your goals! That’s amazing! ❤️✨
Maybe you can try human design test, it could potentially help you figure out your next steps by following your inner authority whether it’s emotion , sacral or other ones
So proud of you for working towards your own goals! Truly something to celebrate (and welcome to LA!- It's not always that lonely here) 💛 Hope you can truly discover your purpose, find community to run with, and use this new season of life to explore and dig deeper! There's so much more to life when God fuels us ~ “If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
I think it’s so funny that you think that going with the flow is stagnation when your flow is finding a new goal and going for it and then getting there and feeling lost enough to feel the need to find a new goal…going with the flow is going up and down…you’re in a down…and that’s you’re jumping off point to go even higher…if you ever reached a goal and thought…okay…I guess that’s it I’m done now…how sad would that be…you’re doing great. Love your channel!!!

Hope you figure things out we're all behind ya! You're the one who inspired me to start vlogging myself :))) Thank You, you got this!
good luck! I subbed!
love what you're doing :) beautiful message
I SUBBED TOO
It's totally normal to not know what to do.
If this whole covid things settle down , i personally wish freesia can have her own fan meet🥺🥰❤️❤️❤️
So happy for your Freesia 💛I’ve watched almost all your videos, and have watched them consistently! Love them and love your song choices too 😇
In next QnA, can you do " how you manage your financial state / investment ideas "? please i need that and I think you are doing great thru being a full time youtuber 🥺💜
love how open you are Freesia! really enjoy your talking portions in every vlog and there's something to takeaway from your videos 💕
THAT cleaning balm is one of the best. Hands down!
Could not resonate with this more! Thank you for telling me what I’ve been telling myself as I’m currently a little lost with life, it always sounds better when someone else is saying it! I’ve also made notes of things to add to my annual journal💕
Love that you’re always a real one ☝️ Idk what I’m doing anymore either but it’s nice to know it’s not just me
love your openness and vulnerability! you're asking lots of good questions, hoping you find your clarity soon ❤
Lack of structure making my days blurry alot...aahh so well put, I feel that.
Thank you for posting this Freesia! About to get married soon and just been really refelcting my life so far. And I haven't accomplished as much as I wished. But that is more to look forward to achieve.
Thank you for continuing to inspire me to keep making content!!! Hope you stay safe and healthy!
I got u freesia!!!!
No matter what happen to u
U could over it as time goes by
So im here to support u
Love u always!!!!
ur 2020 entry ... that is insane and amazing :-)) I so relate to you on goals, feeling lost, etc.
may the process of figuring out what's next be smooth sailing for you freesia~~ It's been amazing to see you upload on such a consistent basis along with the growth of your editing! you're doing amazing :-)
I think its because you need new goals.
And BAM you literally said what I thought(:
Good luck. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
What is the light on the computer??? Thank you for the links! LOVE the desk set up!!!
Thanks for being so real and honest with us freesia! It’s so easy to envy influencers but to hear some of the harsh realities is really refreshing :)
wow i can't believe your journal has lasted you that long. i think it's important to reflect and pivot - it's not pretentious to think of what's next after you achieve your goalpost. that's what it's for, a milestone/landmark before the next thing you set your eyes on!
Things come your way at the right time ❤️
You should try Heimish's All Clean Balm, washes off super nice 😊
I'm with you 🥲😭 I've been sooo lost all I do is cry and workout to get myself through the week.
Love what you're doing Freesia, thank you for sharing vulnerably and being so real with us💛 Sending love from Singapore, you're inspiring to keep going with my RUclips channel as well even though I've wanted to quit it multiple times :' ) I keep coming back after seeing you share these memories with people💛
I got the same scalp massager! Haven't used it yet tho.

Omg I totally relate to you!! I became an entrepreneur last year and I hit this high but as time goes on I’m losing structure and what really makes me happy.. each day just passes and idk why I’m doing what I’m doing anymore. I’ve achieved more than I thought at such a young age but now idk where I’m going.totally related to everything you said
This is so real, thank you freesia for being our unnie🥺❤️
I want to recomend you this book: 'The subtle art of not giving a f**k' by Mark Manson. It might explain why you are feeling lost after you've accomplished so much!
I love how you sit so straight, great posture
63k subs.. So happy, first thing in the morning here, to see your vlog (another is Michelle's vlogs) Thanks Freesia✨
It's okay to feel that way and we all are still growing as people. 💕
*i like that you have the journal from 10th grade!*
They say when you feel lost it means you are actually growing (i think i read this on 101 essays)
Love it when you do unboxing. Surprise yourself every time 😅
this is so real, thank u for sharing!
That’s amazing that your diary entry last year was you manifesting what you’re doing now! I wonder if volunteering may help you feel more purpose
thanks for sharing this video. i liked it. you are an open and honest person. :)
i know exactly how you feel. i set myself goals and i have achieved them too then felt lost, aimless and pointless. and i mean serious goals like becoming the creme de la creme of ... i will not disclose this.
i think you are feeling the emptiness because you need meaning and purpose in your life. that usually comes from having some external altruistic goal like ... saving animals, or contributing towards the betterment of other humans for free like food shelters, helping with homelessness or something else that is not self directing but directed towards helping others .... for free. you'll get there.
Music selection I really noticed this time not sure why lol. You always have good taste.
It’s ok to take a step back and just chill for a bit. u just Need to recharge specially after moving and making RUclips your full time job . 💓💓
오호! 영상 시작할 때 곡도 좋네요. 저는 Jennifer Chung - All Come True 이 곡도 좋아해요 :-)

I neeeeeded this vlog
So proud of you for working towards your own goals! Truly something to celebrate (and welcome to LA!- It's not always that lonely here) 💛
Hope you can truly discover your purpose, find community to run with, and use this new season of life to explore and dig deeper! There's so much more to life when God fuels us ~
“If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.”
― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Ahhhh Freesia this upload was a surprise!
It's good to reflect and I can relate.
Always so stoked and ready to see another Freesia vlog!!!
You are a inspiration, to many yu k it yt
Maybe u just need to make like little goals and try to accomplish them and when the times come u will find something that u really want to do
I think it’s so funny that you think that going with the flow is stagnation when your flow is finding a new goal and going for it and then getting there and feeling lost enough to feel the need to find a new goal…going with the flow is going up and down…you’re in a down…and that’s you’re jumping off point to go even higher…if you ever reached a goal and thought…okay…I guess that’s it I’m done now…how sad would that be…you’re doing great. Love your channel!!!
