What a pleasure watching someone who actually knows what they are doing instead of being a know-it-all and not really knowing what they are doing. You are a great family, you really do deserve the best.
So much hard work !! I am happy to see that Logan is working hard along with his Dad. It is the best way for a kid to learn life skills. He is a strong young man. I am happy to see the house moving forward.
Hi All - let’s pick up the subscriber tally - it’s free and does so much to help Jacob and Natalie on this amazing journey. I always hit Like before I watch so I don’t forget and because I know I will always enjoy each episode!😍🇨🇦
I'm glad to hear you're both on the downside of that bug. Sometimes our bodies have their own way of telling us we need to take a little rest. You've got me on the edge of my seat every video. No problem getting me to watch the whole thing. I love your innovation and how you're open to ideas. I can't wait for the next video.
Jacob and Natalie, we love your energy, engineering and fabrications skills and positive attitude. The root cellar roof will be nice and strong. Blessings to all of you folks.
Good idea to wrap the pipe. If you have to twelve it, the concrete is not stuck to it, allows it to flex a small amount, and every plumber I know does it that way.
great to see the kids involved..and the look outs in the trees....you look marvelous...no leaks is good to hear...very nice job!!! Glad you guys are feeling better, we appreciate you and ALL that you do and share...thanks for sharing your family!!!
I hade a mate who was a plumber and he made the pipe leveling look easy. I helped a few times and he laid the gravel to the level before putting pipe in the trench and that went like a dream. I liked your approach as I did similar on some pipe that I laid. You guys are doing great. Man, you got to love the versatility of that backhoe, what a gem. I really liked the aerial shots at the beginning, just gives a scale to everything.
Awesome job guys. After watching the builds of the utility shed, the Solar system, the gravel road, the septic system, chicken coop, storage shed, trailer mods, and wood milling, you are now really making super progress on your home. I appreciate you sharing your journey. The skills you have never cease to amaze me too. Stay Safe!
Yes, we need to start drive to get you guys more subscribers one of the best RUclips families on the platform. keep progressing. Can’t wait to see your house. Blessings to your family.
I have to say you guys have the patience of Job. Also what great planning you have done to map out all the jobs in order of finish. I look forward each week to see what progress you have made. You are building a beautiful homestead and I look forward to see what it will look like finished. Did you ever think about the amount of boulders you were going to have to wrestle around? Hats off to all of you for taking on this challenge. Thank you for taking the time to allow us to follow along.
Always look forward to seeing what you guys are up to in every episode. I just hate the fact that we have to wait so long between videos. Stay safe, GOD BLESS and see y’all on the next one.
Great work. Enjoyed watching you. Love the interaction between all of you. Awesome father/daughter time loading the trailer. Look forward to next week.
suggestion from a plumber - if your incoming pipe is 3 inch use 4 inch corrugated pipe, if it is 4 inch use 6 inch corrugated pipe. Cut down one side of the corrugated pipe from one end to one end and force it on the pipe. This will create a sort of chase that will allow the DWV pipe do slightly move in the footer beam and not get broken or sag over time
Good Morning. How you doing today? Look like everything's coming together, guys. Got the plumbing. Get the pipes in alright. Looks good and I'll keep up the good work and I'm have a good Day Out there.❤❤❤❤
I’m always so excited to see your videos each week! Every task you get done is just that much closer to your house being done. It’s a lot of fun to watch, you guys make it interesting and entertaining. Keep up the good work!
We all get sick sometimes and might get behind a little and your homestead and videos are very nice to see. I'm so glad that Logan and Natalie see the value of helping when they are young so they can get stronger and more knowledgeable about helping more. Thanks
Watched every episode 😊 What you’ve accomplished is incredible and inspiring 😊. Every step you take is doubled by videoing and posting which is most appreciated. Thanks for sharing. Be careful. Will keep watching!👍🏼💪🏼
Love your effort. I’m not certain I’ve commented before but have watched you vlogs every week can’t wait for the next one. Robert from Australia Sydney
One thing i have done with several projects is put the buckets in the trailer when filling. This way you can just grab the buckets and dump where the material is needed. I did this with my pick up truck as well... 😊
Awesome videos. I love how your kids help, but they still get to be kids and enjoy the outside and play. Great balance in your life! They will appreciate it when they are older.
You know, that question from your daughter ... as a parent, it is quite easy to skip over one of these (to me) important questions ... NOW IS THAT TIME ..... What is the answer you will give .... Please, beautiful human beings: we, as adults do NOT know all the answers !!! Be willing to learn from our children and grand-children!
Your oldest son (sorry for not knowing his name) is becoming a great help. It will be great to start passing on your many skills and experience to him! Smart idea to fill the water lines for stability. 😍🇨🇦
Hi there beautiful people, it seems like you (Jacob) do things out of fear! Why? don't you know that fear is the worst advisor there is? But at the same time, you have a kind of trust that things will work out fine! Your wife is a great asset to the endeavours for the both of you! Please keep looking back at the progresses you have made! Get some confidence from you all you have accomplished!!!! Over-doing things is fine; under-doing things is not! I would love to assist you!!! And no, I do not think I know it all. Just the thrill of building a home with the love of your life ......
I love watching your videos. All the extra things you do in your installations are for your family's well-being. Congratulations on what you've done up till now!
I'm happy to see you guys still having fun and enjoying the venture your on, it makes it that much more valuable (as memories) for you all when it's complete. Stay happy, healthy and safe.

Great job! One step at a time.
How is your weather? Some places have had record breaking heat.
It's been pretty warm. Low 90s.
That's awesome how close you live to that body of water. Never realized that prior to the drone footage. Is it a small lake or river?
It's a small lake. Kind of fun to have.
When is your guess that your house will be completely done?
😳 Completely done? 100%? Um, 2 or 3 years 😅. We're doing the work ourselves so it'll take some time. Thanks 🙂
Are you building a mancave in your storm shelter
I could be 😁
is that lake part of your property ?
It's not. But it's only a 5 minute walk. Thanks 🙂
👍🇨🇦
Is the lake or reservoir belong to you
No. But it is on public land. Thanks 🙂
Don’t they have precast cement roof?
I don't know. I've never thought of that.
What state are y’all in again?
Arizona. Thanks 🙂
