    I experience the same problem with overlapped verbal and creative acuity. Talking and creating are definitely opposite sides of the brain. I was a sculptor/designer and was often left to answer the phone for the shop during staggered lunch breaks. My boss told me later they couldn't wait to get back from lunch to laugh at my scrambled messages!

    😊 Hello Ana. Its very nice to hear from you again, so sorry to hear your feeling a bit under the weather, as you put it.
    This is a lovely video about painting a still life in oils.
    I love the combination of the rose and teacup etc. I find doing an occasional Stil life helps to keep the composition tight and proportionate. Its good practice for when translating your skill to other works. Plenty of tips too. Thank you for sharing this video and for
    Allowing us to observe your process. Hope your feeling better soon. Best wishes and Kind regards. too.👍🖐️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

      Yes I practically live there when my son is admitted. I walk around the halls biting my tongue and inside of my cheeks from holding back my emotions- I look for art to keep my mind stable. So maybe try to speak with less ums

      @@thehappypotter9612I was going to state this to the first commenter above. I literally do not hear her “uhms” which are her left switches from right to left she is so brilliant - (also) a grouping of her words has so much brilliant meaning and content her brain needs to rest a moment. I could listen to her talk all day long and I could watch her paint for days on end. I wouldn’t move. She holds my attention beyond anything!

    On one of your videos about warm and cool temperature colors you mentioned if you mix a warm and a cool color together you neutralize them and get mud. Are you only mixing cools together and warms together in this painting? - (Like Magenta and a cool yellow)
    Did you setup your palette so the warms are together and the cools are together?

    Hi. Doing a limited palette. Why do you not just do a colour wash over the painting at the end of making the painting? Like making a blue painting… paint it how you want and then go over it with a blue wash?

    • @milanartapp
      @milanartapp  Год назад +2

      That is a great question! So the reason why this isn't always the best idea is because say if you have undertones of yellow orange and red; the blue would then cause the painting to turn green and brown. The best way to achieve a limited color palette is to match the color you would like as you go, so that you do not have to worry about the color being changed after glazing.

    • @milanartapp
      @milanartapp  Год назад

      It is preferable to have a bristle brush, though you can of course use this method with any type of brush. Though you will find that bristle brushes have a more sturdy feeling and will give a better scumbling effect. You can find chip brushes at most home depot and house paint stores. We hope this helps!
