Love this group. I am still listening and jamming to this song in 2021. Love the bass, brass, rhythm section and Maysa vocals. The saxophone is doing his thing.
Dearest! We were jamming to this when it first came out! I hope the YOUNGINZ’ can appreciate the orchestration, Maysa’s TRUE TALENT, and BLUEY’s TIGHT A$$ BASS!
OMG... after more than 15 years of searching ... today I just found it. Apparently this music is performed by the famous Band Incognito ... TQ Incognito
Incognito...always love this song and Smiling Faces. In 2003, as a radio announcer, i had ever interviewed them when they came for a live concert in Makassar - Indonesia
The very first track I listened from Incognito. I must have heard it hundreds of times since 1992. I owe this track very much : it made me aware of Incognito and the acid jazz movement. My ears thank you Bluey !
Me too...😍😍 Love this group. And an honour for me, I went to their 2003 or 2004 live concert in Indonesia 🇮🇩 and Thanx God as a radio announcer that time i've given time to interview them live in studio. What an unforgettable moment in my life 😘😘

I just found this song in my father's old hardisk. I felt in love in the first time I heard it💕 Does this band still stand up to now? I'm just an asian teenager, I know pretty much nothing about this band.
They are a truly off the hook live performance band. They still play around the world. Bluey is truly a good guy too, taking the time to talk to his fans and sign autographs just as if you were his friend
1996 le Bataclan, Paname. After the show, walking back to my car thru passage St-Pierre Amelot, we saw shadows inside the emergency exit window. We knocked. A zombie with a wet towel on his head opened with a great smile, and removed the towel : Bluey. He gave me his autograph on a Metro ticket.
You didn't see this particular guy, because it's not a guy. This IS machine bass. You may have heard this bass line played by an actual human live or on another recording, but not on this album.
@@TheOnlyPommyman For sure. I could drill that line on an actual bass for a year, in this or any other key, and still not get it as tight and clean. Dude understands what bass is for, and also knows how to get a machine to do it right. Brilliant.

This track isn't just music; it's a journey through the soul of jazz-funk, masterfully crafted by the legends themselves.

@@LeiPie255 FRANCIS HYLTON plays the BASS. Bluey plays electric rhythm guitar.

I found it last night they played it at Manchester last year,
That bassline is so reminiscent to me of the late, great BERNARD EDWARDS!! That feel is IMPECCABLE and INFECTIOUS!
Lying on beach in Barbados and listening to this heavenly bliss xx
Barbados is a lovely location + ncognito Jazz = the Sweet Life!!!

Thank FRANCIS HYLTON for the BASS!
God, that bassline. Such sweet tone. Nothing like a bunch of compression and a really good bass player.
Actually he told live that the bass and drums were programmed. Oo

What do you mean the bass line is programmed? It’s just perfectly executed....I’ve seen this guy.....he’s exceptional...the whole band is solid.
You didn't see this particular guy, because it's not a guy. This IS machine bass. You may have heard this bass line played by an actual human live or on another recording, but not on this album.
Yeah, programmed by Richard Bull using an Akai sampler. It’s amazing how realistic he got it.
