Brain revolution girl (was a little unsure of this but an absolutely carried the song while niigo just floats.. and miku take too much part on the song though i really like kanade's "surete kareru" part) 12. I absolutely adore Airi's vocals on this. while wxs feels.. overwhelming? I don't really like the mixing.. I can't really explain it) 14. (between the choice of my second favorite Tsukasa comm only behind Mr. Showtime and a song I genuinely don’t even like that much (it’s my fourth favorite Kohane comm), the choice is obvious. Also, Nene absolutely slays her solo in this song she’s so amazing) 2. If (25-ji no Netsujou has never been that appealing to me, interestingly enough. I don’t really like how their voices blend in that song. If was my favorite Haruka comm before Supernova, and I do think the way their voices sound are basic, but it works) 3. Love is War (honestly, this is just because too many people absolutely slayed Usseewa on RUclips. It makes the Proseka cover seem kind of tame in comparison; they’re still good, but I also think Anhane sound way too good in Love is War and completely overshadow Mafumizu in Usseewa) 4. Regulus (I’m not a fan of how weirdly low-energy Rekka’s chorus is compared to its verse, personally. Everyone’s vocals are great in Rekka, but Regulus is just outstanding for Ichika and Honami, and everyone else is also great. I don’t know if it’s the mixing, but L/n’s voices blend better in Regulus than VBS’ do in Rekka) 5. Envy Baby (it’s not that I dislike King either, I just think that Envy Baby is an absolutely outstanding cover. Mizuki and Ena are so strong and Mafuyu’s “crooning” voice works so well with the song and even Kanade has her moments even though it’s out of her wheelhouse) 6. Tengaku… I guess? (the lowered key makes it feel less intense, but their vocals are amazing. Ame to Petra is… it’s trying, but I guess I just like Tengaku’s style of songs better) 7. Sayonara Princess (arguably I’ve heard this one less than I’ve heard Selfish Princess, but I have a huge MMJ bias for vocals. Selfish Princess isn’t bad, though; it really uses Nene’s voice and Emu’s low voice specifically very well. But I just prefer MMJ vocals) 8. Moonlight (quite frankly, there are very few scenarios where I’d ditch an Akito comm, and Empurple nearly made me do it. It’s good, but Moonlight is just better to me; also, the Tatsuya Kitani and Harumaki Gohan self-cover of Moonlight slaps) 9. Stage of Sekai (this one kind of gives me a nostalgic feeling since it’s the first or second event I ever participated in. Hoshizora Orchestra is really cute too, but I do prefer Stage of Sekai-type songs because of my piano bias) 10. Supernova (kill me now before the Blender fans discover me. Again, I just think MMJ’s vocals are incredible, and Supernova isn’t so aggressively high-energy that it completely turns me away a la Ultra C. Blender is so amazing though 😭) 11. It got me singing that song for weeks after I first listened to it, and Mind Brand only did enough to get me searching up the lyrics) 12. Nonsense Bungaku (admittedly here comes my vocal bias again; I love Rui’s voice and I love Tsukasa’s voice and as much as I love Ichishiho, Nonsense Bungaku is such a good display of Ruikasa’s voices that I just like it better. Also, I distinctly remember liking Nonsense Bungaku as a song better than Bokura Mada Underground even when I was listening to the Eve version) 13. Murder Case (I’m not typing out that full title. Even though I love MMJ’s vocals, I personally just cannot stand Junky songs, and Happy Halloween is one of the saddest examples of that. I think Nene and Rui sound great in Murder Case, and Tsukasa too; Emu I’m a bit more iffy on, but she doesn’t sound bad) 14. Lost and Found (this song is absolutely breathtaking to me, and I love how Ichika and Miku sound in this cover. This one gets spammed to hell and back by people trying to tier, but it’s a good enough song that it gets a pass from me. Dechuu ni Saku is just a meh for me, and I think it’s just because I’m actually not as big a fan of Mizuki’s as others seem to be) 15. Shinkai Shoujo (I looped this song while writing an essay once, and it worked wonders and now I love this song. Even Airi, usually my least favorite vocalist in MMJ, sounds perfect and right at home in this song. Kagerou Daze isn’t as bad as everyone says it is, but Shinkai Shoujo is always beating it in my mind) 16. Alter Ego (this is kind of like Gekokujou senior, isn’t it? No one sounds bad in Alter Ego or like they’re overwhelming everyone else, while in As You Like It, you can barely hear the boys in the chorus over Emu. If it were the Rui alt, I think it might actually be a competition, but as of now… Alter Ego sweeps) 17. Amanojaku (through no fault of Setsuna Trip’s, it got an extremely cracked April Fool’s version that exceeds the original cover in every way. If it were the April Fool’s version against Amanojaku, I’d maybe consider it, but L/n’s voices in Amanojaku are so good that just normal Setsuna Trip can’t compare imo) 18. Kibou no Tsuki (you could pay me and I still wouldn’t be able to tell you why I love Kibou no Tsuki so much. I know that Karakuri Pierrot is a classic, but something about Kibou no Tsuki just scratches an itch in my head) 19. Gehenna (I have a huge attachment to this song because I learned how to sing it and now I’m never letting it go. Ultra C ( I really love all of their voices ESPECIALLY An’s little rap it all has me in shambles and this is my current favorite song so ofc I chose it although I really do love seibai itasu a LOT) 2. Passion at 25:00 (This is such a different style for N25 and I can’t help but love it. They all sound so strong and emotional and it hits me in the feels every time. Good good song.) 3. Useewa ( both hit so hard and are powerful HOWEVER I have an Ado bias and anything Ado just really makes me happy so I had to choose useewa.) 4. Regulus (I love regulus and all girls have really powerful voices. Both Ichika and Honami blew me away. Kaito also was the perfect vocaloid for it.) 5. KING (Rui and Tsukasa are the perfect duo when it comes to vocals. I really think they match nicely, and I t think they did this cover SO well. Tsukasa sounds extraordinarily good in it too, which made it even better.) 6. Tengaku (This was one of the first vocaloid songs I’ve EVER heard. It’s nostalgic, a banger, and Ichika sounds lovely. It’s not as good as the original imo, but it’s good.) 7. Selfish princess (I like the vibe it gives off and Emu and Nene both sound very good. I actually really like Emu’s voice in it.) 8. 1. Seibai ItaAAAAAsu! (between the choice of my second favorite Tsukasa comm only behind Mr. Showtime and a song I genuinely don’t even like that much (it’s my fourth favorite Kohane comm), the choice is obvious. Also, Nene absolutely slays her solo in this song she’s so amazing)
2. If (25-ji no Netsujou has never been that appealing to me, interestingly enough. I don’t really like how their voices blend in that song. If was my favorite Haruka comm before Supernova, and I do think the way their voices sound are basic, but it works)
3. Love is War (honestly, this is just because too many people absolutely slayed Usseewa on RUclips. It makes the Proseka cover seem kind of tame in comparison; they’re still good, but I also think Anhane sound way too good in Love is War and completely overshadow Mafumizu in Usseewa)
4. Regulus (I’m not a fan of how weirdly low-energy Rekka’s chorus is compared to its verse, personally. Everyone’s vocals are great in Rekka, but Regulus is just outstanding for Ichika and Honami, and everyone else is also great. I don’t know if it’s the mixing, but L/n’s voices blend better in Regulus than VBS’ do in Rekka)
5. Envy Baby (it’s not that I dislike King either, I just think that Envy Baby is an absolutely outstanding cover. Mizuki and Ena are so strong and Mafuyu’s “crooning” voice works so well with the song and even Kanade has her moments even though it’s out of her wheelhouse)
6. Tengaku… I guess? (the lowered key makes it feel less intense, but their vocals are amazing. Ame to Petra is… it’s trying, but I guess I just like Tengaku’s style of songs better)
7. Sayonara Princess (arguably I’ve heard this one less than I’ve heard Selfish Princess, but I have a huge MMJ bias for vocals. Selfish Princess isn’t bad, though; it really uses Nene’s voice and Emu’s low voice specifically very well. But I just prefer MMJ vocals)
8. Moonlight (quite frankly, there are very few scenarios where I’d ditch an Akito comm, and Empurple nearly made me do it. It’s good, but Moonlight is just better to me; also, the Tatsuya Kitani and Harumaki Gohan self-cover of Moonlight slaps)
9. Stage of Sekai (this one kind of gives me a nostalgic feeling since it’s the first or second event I ever participated in. Hoshizora Orchestra is really cute too, but I do prefer Stage of Sekai-type songs because of my piano bias)
10. Supernova (kill me now before the Blender fans discover me. Again, I just think MMJ’s vocals are incredible, and Supernova isn’t so aggressively high-energy that it completely turns me away a la Ultra C. Blender is so amazing though 😭)
11. Brain Revolution Girl (I’m not making any statements on Mind Brand, I just think Brain Revolution Girl is absolutely amazing. It got me singing that song for weeks after I first listened to it, and Mind Brand only did enough to get me searching up the lyrics)

Nonsense Bungaku (admittedly here comes my vocal bias again; I love Rui’s voice and I love Tsukasa’s voice and as much as I love Ichishiho, Nonsense Bungaku is such a good display of Ruikasa’s voices that I just like it better. Also, I distinctly remember liking Nonsense Bungaku as a song better than Bokura Mada Underground even when I was listening to the Eve version)
13. Murder Case (I’m not typing out that full title. Even though I love MMJ’s vocals, I personally just cannot stand Junky songs, and Happy Halloween is one of the saddest examples of that. I think Nene and Rui sound great in Murder Case, and Tsukasa too; Emu I’m a bit more iffy on, but she doesn’t sound bad)
14. Lost and Found (this song is absolutely breathtaking to me, and I love how Ichika and Miku sound in this cover. This one gets spammed to hell and back by people trying to tier, but it’s a good enough song that it gets a pass from me. Dechuu ni Saku is just a meh for me, and I think it’s just because I’m actually not as big a fan of Mizuki’s as others seem to be)
15. Shinkai Shoujo (I looped this song while writing an essay once, and it worked wonders and now I love this song. Even Airi, usually my least favorite vocalist in MMJ, sounds perfect and right at home in this song. Kagerou Daze isn’t as bad as everyone says it is, but Shinkai Shoujo is always beating it in my mind)
16. Alter Ego (this is kind of like Gekokujou senior, isn’t it? No one sounds bad in Alter Ego or like they’re overwhelming everyone else, while in As You Like It, you can barely hear the boys in the chorus over Emu. If it were the Rui alt, I think it might actually be a competition, but as of now… Alter Ego sweeps)
17. Amanojaku (through no fault of Setsuna Trip’s, it got an extremely cracked April Fool’s version that exceeds the original cover in every way. If it were the April Fool’s version against Amanojaku, I’d maybe consider it, but L/n’s voices in Amanojaku are so good that just normal Setsuna Trip can’t compare imo)
18. Kibou no Tsuki (you could pay me and I still wouldn’t be able to tell you why I love Kibou no Tsuki so much. I know that Karakuri Pierrot is a classic, but something about Kibou no Tsuki just scratches an itch in my head)

5. KING (Rui and Tsukasa are the perfect duo when it comes to vocals. I really think they match nicely, and I t think they did this cover SO well. Tsukasa sounds extraordinarily good in it too, which made it even better.)
6. Tengaku (This was one of the first vocaloid songs I’ve EVER heard. It’s nostalgic, a banger, and Ichika sounds lovely. It’s not as good as the original imo, but it’s good.)
7. Selfish princess (I like the vibe it gives off and Emu and Nene both sound very good. I actually really like Emu’s voice in it.)
8. Empurple (Both are similar but Empurple to me feels like the improved version of Gekkou. I generally prefer n25 over most covers, so I think that boosted it.)
9. Stage of SEKAI (This song is what made me really pay attention to Honami’s voice. It’s always been more delicate, but this is the first song she really shone above the rest. It’s a banger.)
10. Blender (I wanted to cry trying to choose a song, but went with blender, since the harmonies made me literally ascend to the heavens. I love all of their voices, and I think the song brings a lot of emotion to the table.)
11. Brain revolution girl (NOTHING is bad about this cover. Every section is so good in its own way and everybody is solid. Not to mention the bgm is to die for. It’s a really good song.)
12. Nonsense bungaku (Rui and Tsukasa. Good vocals. Again. I really like guys singing high notes (perfection) and I also really like Eve. The lyrics resonate with me too.)
13. Happy Halloween (This is on my Halloween playlist and I play it every year. It’s a classic. How could I not choose it?)
14. Lost and found (As a pianist I was naturally drawn to the song. It’s gorgeous, and makes me wanna cry.)
15. Shinkai shoujo (this isn’t my favorite PJSK song, but it’s my favorite vocaloid song. I LOVE the little mermaid, I love the instrumentals, vocals, it all. Airi’s spunky voice is actually such a good addition.)
16. As you like it (This is actually an unpopular opinion but I actually love how Emu’s harmonies are super high. It brings the cover to life, and adds the energy it needs. Rui’s my favorite character, and I love how he leads this song. He has amazing vocals. Also Eve.)
17. Amanojaku (I like shiho in this one a lot. It’s a banger and the guitar is so good.)
18. Karakuri Pierrot (I like the sad vibe to it, and the line distribution is really nice. I can’t find anything bad about it, and the instrumentals also make me ascend.)
19. Gehenna (surprisingly it’s not Rui and Tsukasa but Gehenna was my favorite song for a long time. I love Mizuki’s vocals a LOT and Ena made it even better. It’s soo good and catchy I cannot)
20. (Bonus) Devil’s manner (Haruka made me see this song in another light. I used to not really like this song as much, but with Haruka instead of Rin, it is SOOO GOOD. I love Haruka and she CARRIED.)
21. (Bonus) melty land nightmare(I HATE comparing these two why would you do it? Melty land nightmare feels so right and resonates with my soul, also gives major Madoka Magica vibes. It’s so pretty and the little voices are so pretty. Watashi wa ame is catchy, and every section is absolutely perfect. I have to choose melty land nightmare since this one makes my chest get that special feeling if you know what I’m saying.)
