Isn't that something; the v6 camaro of this generation is faster than the 5.7 liter hemi chargers and challengers of the same generation. I ended up buying the 2018 V6, with the 8 speed automatic which is pretty dope; lightly modded just last year, I ran 13.3. Long story short, as I get older I've noticed this whole V8 purist attitude is only really seen in America. The rest of the world cares nothing about a sports car being a V8. And in my older age, the one thing I've learned to do is get something because I like it, not because someone else does. Because no matter who you are, or how nice your stuff is, someone out there will clown you regardless. That's what makes us all car enthusiasts anyway. Lethal i have a question, i am also going to do the e85 tune on my 2017 v6 camaro this following weekend and i was wondering if the e85 gets your injectors get gunky? And if so how could you prevent it ?
They can if you run crap gas. But your fuel system is Teflon coated, so it should be good. Best way to flush the injectors is to swap your tune back to stock every once and awhile and run 91/93 for a tank or two. Ngauge makes a device that allows you to flash the tune back and forth easily.
I could buy whatever I wanted. I wanted a fast Camaro. V6 was still faster than a 5th Gen SS. I can get a ticket milliseconds slower than an SS owner? 😂
You can’t do ‘Flex Fuel’ you can only have your vehicle tuned to run e85, and only run e85. Flex fuel means your ECU can change it mapping based on the fuel your car is running, the V6 ECU doesn’t support that.

Not bad for a LT
Where did you get your spoiler?
Can you find out what a jet 2 performance module would do for the v6 sounds more easy to install an get hp
Like a performance chip? It will do NOTHING for your car.
What about a Overkill tune or a ported throttle body intake manifold
Where can I buy the flex fuel kit?
will Cunningham Motorsports work with the turbo 4 camaro?
I don;t think they are currently. Not sure anyone has unlocked the e80 ECU.
Matt what was the cost
Lethal i have a question, i am also going to do the e85 tune on my 2017 v6 camaro this following weekend and i was wondering if the e85 gets your injectors get gunky? And if so how could you prevent it ?
They can if you run crap gas. But your fuel system is Teflon coated, so it should be good. Best way to flush the injectors is to swap your tune back to stock every once and awhile and run 91/93 for a tank or two. Ngauge makes a device that allows you to flash the tune back and forth easily.
@@Lethalgarage so lets say i always run good e85 will that be no prob? (E85 from stripes) and alright thank you so much for the advice !
with normal tune ups and cleanings you’ll be fine
@@Lethalgarage alright thank you so much for the advice ! Btw you have one badass camaro 🤤
where do y’all get the kit for e85?
I understand everyone doesn't have the funds, but I would have just traded up for a V8. Nice car though, I'm digging the new look.
It's not always about funds for people. Some people just don't want a V8.
I could buy whatever I wanted. I wanted a fast Camaro. V6 was still faster than a 5th Gen SS. I can get a ticket milliseconds slower than an SS owner? 😂
100th Anniversary Dodge Charger RT i honestly like the v6 grill better.
chi28n2k sorry to tell you but 6th gen v6 isn’t faster than 5th gen SS LOL
No it’s faster than a 4th Gen SS... Not a 5th Gen.
Where I can buy the front lips I have the same car but can't find the front lips
Anderson composite
Can someone please tell me where I can get flex fuel for my 2018 camero rs v6 I looked everywhere and can’t find it I wanna get on e85
You can’t do ‘Flex Fuel’ you can only have your vehicle tuned to run e85, and only run e85. Flex fuel means your ECU can change it mapping based on the fuel your car is running, the V6 ECU doesn’t support that.
What’s a e 85
How much was the tune?
What is your 0-60 time
0-60 time? And what about crank horsepower
what’s the exaust setup?
What kind of Exhaust is that ?
Where is that shop?
Gone now
how does gm make every shift pop on the a8 trans?
He's actually driving stick. Not sure why they said it was auto.
@@chickenmuffin no he’s not
What flex fuel kit did you use
The V-6 can’t use a flex fuel kit the ECUs not capable. This car was tuned on pure E 85 only
@@Lethalgarage so you can run 100% e85!?
@@SWEETVENOM100 yes, the tuner tuned the car to run on 100%
Cost?
