@@monroemoore6507 have you really listened to Myles over the years??? He's not supposed to sound like axl rose lol...axl rose isn't all that and a bag of chips. There's nothing fake about his voice...that's what he sounds like 🤷🏻...his voice/guitar playing is quite impressive honestly. From teaching guitar in Spokane...to a light in the dark for those who may be lost.

thanks so much for posting these, I love listening to Myles singing to acoustic in smaller venues like this. I love the sound of his voice on the lower octaves of this song. His highes are amazing too but we don't hear him that low as often. Myles and Slash are perfect together on this one.

I have been a (Dutch) GNR fan from day 1 and now as a father of 2 ,I still love this song. I think Myles is doing very well not trying to replace Axl, but still staying relatively close to the original!

Deborah Gosen yeah but he sounded really strained at times in this. Not everyone's got Axl's vocal range. Not even Axl any more lol
Black Bird, Words Darker than there Wings, Watch Over You. I know AB dont do Words live much because Myles doesnt like doing the high note

I think Slash is the only person in the world touching layers something like this with so much harmony and rhythm just give him a guitar and it will make art if it's true, maybe not like everyone but this is the most common mistake committed by future great artists treating everyone like. I ♥ listening to Slash playing guitar doesn't have a drop of ego knowing that he's one of the best guitarists in the world is very modest always congratulates next to it. Really admirable I proud to be my idol.
AND YET , some people question how amazing of a guitar player Slash is ...
never in doubt . but i love slash's humility when the slash versus buckethead discussion was about..Slash said hes never thought himself as a technical guitarist he just feels the music.

Now that's exactly how you handle a fudge up when playing live... I always say to my guitar students "Just laugh it off and make sure that the audience laugh as well". It happens to even the most seasoned players.

Oh my goodness. Someone who can sing these songs correctly but without the attitude. Grew up with GNR but found Axl's ego too much for me to support him. Slash continues to rock as always.

@miller434 Its a Maton "Tommy Emmanuel Signature". An Aussie made guitar and I recall this was the first time Slash had ever played one.

I love how she says it's a "Maton"....... And he said....... I'm positive it's "made in" Australia but I just don't know who it is. I'm surprised nobody picked up on that.
