What I suggest is you have given 9.194x4835 which is wrong because already you have corrected the gold value as per 83% purity.Hence only 11 gram weight should be taken into account and corresponding corrected value be multiplied.Never use corrected weight of 9.194g

Hi, it's not pure gold after checked in purity machine. It shows how much percentage of gold available in that particular ornament. And u have to understand if 91.6 percent is gold and rest is other elements like copper, silver and/or zinc. Then those copper, silver and/or zinc is till in that ornament only... So the purity machine says only the percentage gold + additional metals in that ornament and therefore 24k price of pure gold can't be taken in to calculation. Only 22k gold price only be taken.
Then it should be for the entire weight of the ornament. Problem is they take out the weight of other metals and give only 916 rate for the pure gold in that ornament

In some shops they doing like that. Deducting some percentage as dirt (அழுக்கு) or like you said 100rs less. But in some shops, if you agree to melt the jewellery then the don't deduct as dirt. When melting all dirt will get burned. So it is important to choose the right shop when doing exchange.

Hi.. In your calculation, 5275 is not 100% pure gold. 5275 is for 91.6℅ gold only. So 24carat gold is 100% gold. So 24carat gold rate per gram is 5775. So we have to calculate 5775*83℅ is 4793. But gold jewellers calculating from 91.6. Which is wrong and Loss for us

Yes it is. Shops uses same machine to buy your gold jewels when exchange. To get better results, jewel should melted (உருக்கி)
Hi, it's not pure gold after checked in purity machine. It shows how much percentage of gold available in that particular ornament. And u have to understand if 91.6 percent is gold and rest is other elements like copper, silver and/or zinc. Then those copper, silver and/or zinc is till in that ornament only...
So the purity machine says only the percentage gold + additional metals in that ornament and therefore 24k price of pure gold can't be taken in to calculation. Only 22k gold price only be taken.
Then it should be for the entire weight of the ornament. Problem is they take out the weight of other metals and give only 916 rate for the pure gold in that ornament

அவர்கள் தரும் மொத்த நகை எடை 255gm என்றால். 23.200*100/255.840 = 9% கூலி, சேதாரம் என்பது நியாயமான எதிர்பார்ப்பு தான். எந்த வியாபரம் என்றாலும் லாபம் இல்லாமல் செய்ய முடியாது.

Old / exchange ornaments will be exchanged for 'buyback rate' which is alwaz lower than today's gold rate. Alwaz ask for buyback rate before selling/exchange.
That is acceptable. But they using different calculation, reducing gold weight which is confusing .

@@saibairav3809 some shops deduct certain percentage for dust (alukku). urukina antha dust poidum. so nenga ketkalam, urukki appuram calcualte pannuganu. Also they ask extra for cooli. setharam & gst for new jewel.

Ella shop laiyum cheat dha pandranga, they calculated only for 916 rate after the cleaning of old jewell.plz clear my doubt if there is no stone in jewell but they also less 1 gram is it crt? and they took the old jewell for less 100 rs for each gram, they said bcoz it is old one 😑😪in only 916 amount they convert it
In some shops they doing like that. Deducting some percentage as dirt (அழுக்கு) or like you said 100rs less. But in some shops, if you agree to melt the jewellery then the don't deduct as dirt. When melting all dirt will get burned. So it is important to choose the right shop when doing exchange.
91.6 - 83.57 ( then we get right price, even if they give rate from 22k price 😮😮😮😮

The problem is they find purity 83% and reduce the weight of jewel 83%. Which is 83% of pure gold in total weight. And gives you 91.6% purity price.
Hi.. In your calculation, 5275 is not 100% pure gold. 5275 is for 91.6℅ gold only. So 24carat gold is 100% gold. So 24carat gold rate per gram is 5775. So we have to calculate 5775*83℅ is 4793. But gold jewellers calculating from 91.6. Which is wrong and Loss for us
