As admirable as the new features are, Once again an AR preview inside the Unity editor was omitted. As a developer a preview of how the AR app would run form inside the editor either vie live link to a device or in a simulated environment is needed. In ARFoundation 1 such a solution existed but not anymore. It seems that the product that they sell Mars has such functionality.
The place sphere demo worked once for me, and then never again. I can't place any object anymore. Something I noticed is that my ARRaycast Manager is no longer the same. It now has an empty raycast prefab field on it.
Hello, I upgraded my project to URP but my camera does not recognize the place and does not place my object on the ground. I guess I have to change something in the rendering settings on the AR camera but I couldn't find what it was. Do you have any advice? Thanks in advance, have a nice day.
This is great but unfortunately, i am running into an issue at the very beginning. The build doesnt seem to recognize my camera, and just shows black static screen.
to whoever will get this error : i will assume you are doing URP , so, find ForwardRenderer and add renderer feature "undRendererFeaturedererFeature" , problem solved , and check arcore in player setting > XR

hellow what about making app with Unity any update of Course and new feature from Unity Editor it will be great to bounce between making game and app i found one course with pour review from udemy.....so any new update making App will be Awesome

Have you added Open Scenes in build settings?
Tag ar camera as main camera
You might need to go into your cameras settings, apps, find your app for this and allow permission for it to use camera.

even though i follow wverything it does not work...right clicking on heirarchy does not show any ar options...help

well when does Depth API supports on most of the android devices
right clicking on unity doesnt show any vr option!

We need python support for unity , instead of C# please work on that
Nobody really needs Python support for Unity. Most programmers work with C# and the rest in JS.
