Just before the V rod went out of production, I purchased a night rod. That was a beautiful bike and awesome to ride. This custom night rod is off the chain. I could just look at it for hours. Great build.

I'm old school so my bikes are air cooled and the gas tank is the top tank on all my bikes. That being said, That bike is worthy of being in my collection. I've been looking for a vrod just for the sake of having one.. Nice bike people. Good job.

I never cared for HD bikes, ever !!!! The only one I was hooked on was the V Rod. Especially the Porsche engine they dropped on it. When I found out how poor the headlights lumens are at night, it turned me off to buy one. How HD design a bike from scratch and screwed up the most important thing, be seeing !!! DD , you rock. Work of art. She sounds so sweet. Horrible sitting position. One hour ride like this and I would not be able to even make love to myself. Good job guys.

I had a custom night rod , they look the bollocks but don't go round bends and corners without hard work I would even say the handling is dangerous also pretty uncomfortable for more than a few miles...I had to get rid of mine.. Some love their rods and to those..best wishes !
Yep. Gorgeous bike, but can't help but think about how limiting those ergonomics are going to be, even for a short ride in a straight line. Never mind turns and leans. Bet this ends up being a beautiful garage queen.

Customised choppers and bobbers are also not show piece, they are unique and good looking but also serve a purpose.

Great looking V-Rod. Too bad it still has “Gumby’s Casket” as a radiator / shell. If anyone knows of a shop changing those out for something less obtrusive (smaller / more efficient) please share a link to some pics. ✌🏻
30 minute ride time max, and then its back to the garage. Seeing the guy try to position himself properly, had me feeling cramped. LOL. Dude his size, needs room. Congratulations though. Great work put in that bike for sure.

Nice looking but most probably not comfortable to ride... No rear suspension , and the handle bars are so far ahead you'll have a hard time reaching them when the wheel is straight .. So what happens when you want to turn ? One hand won't be able to hold on..

I always thought that the V-rod was so cool. Size was just to small for my height. V-max with forward controls was more comfortable.

Owned 3 muscles..Had a deal wrking for a night rod..fell through at dealership..Pudheads wanted to much for a used 2016..
Sweet! My rides now are much further. A spin around the block is I stay inside my county. A day trip is inside my state. And a weekend ride could be in 4 states. Ive been looking at tavern hoppers again but for my riding style its touring bikes. I had a soft tail custom back in the day that I always wanted to trick out and never did... maybe I should go back and revisit my 20's dreams and get it right? Big turbo charged tavern hopper?🤔 I couldn't give up my ultra for actual ridding but a project bike....

I am a form follows function rider, sooooooo, if the rider LIKES this kind of thing, fine. A lot of the bikes in OCC fit into this category of eye candy. Lots of eye appeal but not so much for riding. If you wanna ride straight and fast, no turns, for a few miles, this is your bike. You'll turn heads. But try to turn at speed and see what happens. Or try to ride for more than an hour or so, and see how your back feels. Not my cup of tea. But it LOOKS good.
The most enjoyable part of riding is leaning the bike. U might as well got a trike with that rear car tire. Haha
