Is it ok to let several dirty brushes sit and then clean them all together after you’ve collected several to clean at once? Or do brushes always need to be cleaned immediately?

Great question. It is best to wash the brush as soon as you are done using it. If you allow it to sit around, the brush will dry out, which will make it more difficult to clean. Any mucus on the brush will be dried on and will be difficult to remove.
