I appreciate how much attention you are giving this case. Justice for Robert!!
Thank you for introducing me to the Consult Podcast, I’ve binged almost every episode already! ❤ your channel 🔥🔥🇨🇦
This case always bothered me .
They guys in the house killed Homs and got away with it ! Awful
Giving Sux w/o being sedated and ventilated is basically some feeling "trapped" in. Syndrome- and slowly dying as sux stops breathing - then the heart
I'm glad that I waited until the end. "Don't worry Mom. I'm like you." is the greatest line in true crime history.
Thanks for covering the case so thoroughly.
Don't know if any lawyers other than B+A themselves read this, but I have come across some defending the suspects as not guilty of actual murder, but some lesser charge. Or even that if they accidentally overdosed him with some drug, that isn't a crime at all, but just a tragic accident, or that in order to prove them guilty of even manslaughter, the State would have to prove they didn't sincerely believe he was already dead when they stabbed him.
This certainly doesn't sit well with me in terms of moral culpability. But if the theory that they drugged him not intending to kill him, sincerely thought they had accidentally killed him, and saw the stabbing as just a way to avoid being wrongfully accused of murder by blaming it all on an intruder ... is that legally murder? Or just abuse of a corpse?
ooh, i was just going to post about The Consult after listening to the last Prosecutors episode and the last The Consult podcast episode on Wone's case. I found The Consult theory on sexual murder interesting, and stabbing as a form of penetration with the ultimate murder the actual sexual gratification. I do believe this was premeditated, and definitely agree that this had more to do with dom-sub control between Dylan and Joseph, given the nature of the sadist material, the Joseph wanting the relationship more than Dylan, and the dom-sub contract. I think Dylan's ultimate dom control over Joseph was the sexual murder. If Joseph really wanted the relationship Dylan was demanding this ultimate sexual act. I didn't hear the Consult address this, but I feel the three controlled, precise stabs were done by Joseph at Dylan's direction as a matter of dom controlling sub. Since Joseph had the mentoring close relationship with Robert, to the point where Joseph had his own reception line at Robert's funeral. I think the nature of the three stabs was Joseph's way of not wanting to mutilate Robert's body and act of caring for Robert even while killing him. This is similar theory as to why a parent would swaddle or position a child that they had killed. Dylan didn't have the type of relationship with Robert where he would care enough about Robert's body to be so precise. So, I don't believe Dylan did the stabbing, but more than likely ordered Joseph to do so. The Consult also talked about soft suffocation, which was interesting as well.
Ketamine can be injected or ingested. It works very quickly.
Yeah I listened to the consult on the wone case on the consult too
Ketamine is not immediate but it is fast onset. My son has needed several surgeries and he has a very high tolerance and metabolism for meds. He gets Ketamine pre-op and it takes effect fairly quickly. He is generally out in 15
minutes and that’s with him trying to fight it.
Ty
Is it me or this one in black and white looks like Bundy? 😮
Polish podcaster Aga Rojek just covered this case and that's why I'm here. I'm also from Poland and I was born when Poland was still socialistic country under Russian communists' influence. This is why in cases like that I automatically think about spy / intelligence services / getting rid of counterintelligence, etc. If I remember correctly Robert was a lawyer with Chineese background and just started to work for specific radio station "Free Asia" or something like that?
IMO if there was an intruder, it was a professional job. Intelligence services know how to get a victim and kill without not leaving any traces. Anybody living in communist / socialist / authoritarian country know cases of suspicious "suicides" or disappearances or car accidents or heart attacks, etc.
Robert had a very busy day (working with morning shift in radio, conference, that working with the evening shift in the radio) and loads of people knew that he will be in the city. It could be a very good day to get rid of him (unfortunatelly), as there would be a lot of different suspects. Not like during a normal, boring day, when anybody could guess that something strange happened to him if he would die in the bed near his wife with three such professional stab wounds.
I'm sorry to say that, but even his wife could be involved in intelligence games - it's not uncommon in the world of spies.
ps. If the case was intelligence or counterintelligence job... not only the public, but even regular services would not necessarily be informed about it. Depends on the importance of the state's interests.
ps. 2. About Robert not moving during stabbing - what if he was exactly in this REM phase (during sleep) when there is so called "a sleep paralysis"? He was probabely very tired after this long day. He just pleased himself after shower (that's why the sperm was where it was, in both places, by his own hands), and than fall asleep in this first deep sleep when cannons can fire outside the window and you won't wake up. This would explain why he was not defending himself.
@@Zmiana_PogodyHe still would have moved if he was being stabbed
I don’t know if this was mentioned but do you think Dylan was going to drug Joe for maybe one of there GAMES and maybe Robert ended up drinking the wrong water and Dylan realised when Joe was still awake and they panicked? So they never intended to do anything with Robert he just ended up drinking or taking the drugs in the house?
Most people call an ambulance in such a situation. I appreciate you considering every possible scenario, but most people don't commit a crime to hide an accident.
@@Aiffam1I totally agree with you. They would have just called an ambulance.
@@Aiffam1maybe not if the victim is a lawyer and could jeopardize the perps if he survived.
@@julietheadrick3699 The only way you're jeopardized, is if you know you did something wrong. A clear conscious is the greatest shield.
