Can someone help me? I did exactly what he did on the tutorial and it won’t work. I thought it had something to do with the preview window because it either shows what I masked or what it looks like with the effect (the area I select shows the mask but doesn’t show the blur, and when I take off the mask, only the area I didn’t select shows the blur), but I tried rendering and it hadn’t worked. I’ve tried several times and watched the tutorial several times. Someone please help! I have a project due in two days and I need to blur a car’s license plates!

Vegas 15 really sucks, I just overall don't like it. Vegas pro 14 was REALLY good, but Magix basically COMPLETELY ruined vegas by "**MODIFYING**" it.

What you have to do people is that you need to duplicate the track then mask the track then add the gaussauin blur then thats it

Thanks a lot! I was supposed to blur someone out but I had literally no idea on how to do this in Vegas Pro 16...
My video's preview even played tricks on my: Every time I moved the mask too close to the side of the screen, it would show some parts of the mask as unblurred. After rendering the video it looked fine tho, so it was just the prewiew spazzing out. 🙄

Haven't tried but I've used this software since a child so this should work.
1. create a new video track above the first blur u made
2. repeat the masking process on a different area

Is it possible to let the blur automatically follow your face instead of moving it manually? If you have a longer video with a moving object it takes quite some time.

Vegas doesnt have tracking option like After Effects, so you have to manually key it frame by frame
