Amen but we are not under any covenant, they are for Israel. Romans 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
      4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

If you cant divide the Word Correctly you will Never understand Peter, James and John did not teach the Dispensation of Grace; ONLY the Apostle Paul who was Chosen by the Lord Himself!!

This is why, we have too many denominations
Peter spoke in the last days
Quoting Joel 2, in Acts 2..
GOD made a transition thru Paul
      Acts is the 5th book
      Transition
      It fits music a little
If you play a song, and want to change keys
      You use the V7 chord🤔
      Things relate

Hi Pastor .Please help me understand. "Lest any should say that i had baptised in my own name" Isnt this why Paul only baptised a few, and didnt he even baptise the house of Stephanus. Verse 17: "for Christ sent me not to baptise but to preach the Gospel" maybe baptising wasnt his main ministry. Acts 10:47 : Can any man forbid water, that they should not be baptised, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?(This sounds like a rhetorical question to me, because he later commanded them to be baptised in the name of the Lord).Philip baptised the Ethiopian eunuch who was not a Jew(i think).Where is this in the timeline if his a Gentile?

      He could've been a Jew
Some gentiles became Jewish, by circumcision

One Lord, one faith, one baptism...unity!! Understand in the context pastor. One baptism in the context does not negate water baptism pastor!!

Yes it does. The “ONE baptism” is the baptism by the Spirit into the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). No water baptism today. It has nothing to do with the body of Christ.

      Paul didn't come to baptize

Good explanation. but Jesus said... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
    Matt 28:19
And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized.....
    Acts 16:33

Henok Behailu Matt 28 and Mark 16 is The great Jewish commission. Where the government(nation) of ISRAEL would go to the gentiles(nations). This commission was never carried out. Israel never believed(nationally) In Acts 7 the nation was temporarily set aside(spiritually) after the nation blasphemies the Holy Spirit when they murdered STEPHEN. No.where in Matt 28 and Mark 16 is the death-buriel- and resurrection ever mentioned! The risen Christ updated things when he raised up Paul. If God told you to do something on a Monday. Then told you to stop doing it on a Thursday. You would stop! Where does the APOSTLE Paul tell you to get dunked in water? Example remember God told Moses in the wilderness to "hit" the Rock. Later he told Moses to just "talk" to it! Why did Paul thank God that he baptized no one. Why did Paul say Christ sent him not to baptize? Water today makes the Cross of "none effect" when the dispensation of Grace ends after the blessed hope(rapture) Water baptism will come back during the Tribulation period. God will resume His favored spiritual relationship with Israel. The 144 thousand male virgin jews(men) will start to fulfill Matt 28 and Mark 16 in tribulation. Christ earthly ministry was exclusively to the goverment of Israel!!!! Only a "born again" goverment of Israel can carry out Matt 28 and Mark 16. The prophesied prophectic program with Israel = salvation goes to the nations and gentiles. Paul's message (Romans 11) is through the "fall" of Israel (spiritually) salvation goes to the gentiles. Pauls message was a "secret" Ephesians 3:1-21(kjv) Colossians 1: 24-29(kjv) Romans 16: 25-26 kjv) The (OT) never mentioned it. Jesus never mentioned it during His earthly ministry. Christ reveals it to Paul in GALATIANS ch 1.(kjv)

Obviously this is one baptism into the body. 1st Cor 12:13. What Richard Jordan can't find is where Paul commanded believers to STOP water baptism..it's not there. He is hung up on 1 or 2 verses that are pulled out of context.

mrmark262. What did Paul mean in I Corinthians when he thanked God he baptized no one! Then went on to say Christ sent him not to baptize. It would make the Cross of "none effect" In Acts 2 when Peter mentioned the Death of CHRIST it was "Bad news" murder. He also told everone to sell all and redistribute to all and live "all things in common" This is also commanded in Acts chapter 4. In early Acts they were in "Last days" the tribulation was about to start!!!! God interrupted His prophesied prophectic favored relationship with the government of Israel when they blasphemy the Holy Spirit in Acts 7 when they murdered STEPHEN. God forgave them for murdering His Son. He didn't forgive the nation for murdering Stephen. Paul's message is the opposite of the 12. Romans 16:25-26(kjv) also read. EPHESIANS 3:1-21(kjv) and please read Colossians 1:24-29kjv If your going to water baptize today! You better be living "all things in common" if you drink any deadly thing no harm will come to you! Can you raise the dead and cast out devils. Take up serpents? Speak with new tongues? You can't take water out of that dispensation and leave everything else. The only baptism that happens to tbe believer today, is when the Holy Spirit. Baptizes you into the body of Christ (DRY) This identifies you completely with death buriel and resurrection of Christ. Remember Matt 28 and Mark is a jewish commission it has nothing to do with the cross. It has to do with Christ being king of the jews! Remember in the wilderness when God told Moses to "hit" the rock! Later be told him to just "talk" to it! STOP HITTING THE ROCK DUDE!!!!!!! WATER BAPTISM is not for today. It wil come back when the dispensation of Grace ends(rapture) DURING the tribulation period. The 144 thousand male virgin jewish men will finally start to carry out the jewish commission of Matt 28 and Mark 16 RIGHTLY DIVIDE GODS WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baptism is a TRADITION, but not necessary for SALVATION

your not accurate about the gospel and the gospel of the kingdom. The salvation gospel is 1 Cor 15:1-5 Peter preached that exact gospel in Acts 2. But yes Peter was still under the law and following Johns baptism in water etc. They did not have a conscience of how the Old was fading away fully yet. No man should go against his conscience. Can we imagine what it would have been like for peter to say to the thousands of jews who were zealous of the law and the temple etc, that all this was fading away , no more needed, no more temple, no more sacrifices, no more washings and whole system?. They would not be able to bear it, and they would not have had a conscience of how it was yet and it is not safe to go against our conscience. Jesus even said he had many things to say and to judge of them but they were not able to bear it , howbeit when the Holy Ghost was come He would guide them into tall truth
