@@minagrujic far from being just a mother of a prince or sehzade. Haseki Sultan was the chief imperial consort with exclusive rights and surpassed even the dynasty sultans in rank. A Haseki was the second most powerful woman of the imperial harem, right after the Valide Sultan. If Valide passed away, the Haseki would fill her space. It was a prestigious and exclusive title, normally given only to legal wives of the Sultan. The first holder of the title was Hurrem, as it was created for her. "During the early period of the usage of haseki, this title was held by the chief consort of the sultan with special status, and surpassed other titles and ranks by which the prominent consorts of the sultans had been known (hatun and kadin). A haseki sultan had an important place in the palace, being the second most powerful woman and enjoyed the greatest status in the imperial harem after valide sultan and usually had chambers close to the sultan's chamber. Haseki Sultan's position, used for a century, reflected the great power of imperial consorts, who were former slaves, in the Ottoman court, elevating their status higher than the Ottoman princesses, and making them the equals of the empress consorts in Europe. When the position of valide sultan was vacant, a haseki could take valide's role, have access to considerable economic resources, become chief of the imperial harem, sultan's advisor in political matters, and even have an influence on foreign policy and on international politics. These cases happened during Hürrem Sultan[5] and Kösem Sultan's eras."
You can really feel the absence of Hurrem in this episodes. I mean, before, every time there was a thing about Mustafa to celebrate Hurrem was always on the screen with Zumbul...I wish they at least put the new actress in this episode to have a few scenes.

I feel how Prince Mustafa must have felt regarding Suleiman's decision. 15th century has no jet, plane or telephones & some decisions has to made instant without sultans approval. And this stubborn son like father Suleiman thinks His son is against him. When Mustafa said my end is drawing near God knows I cried 😭😭 History is heartbreaking
I know that Meryem Uzerli's departure was sudden, but the directors could've done a bettee job writing her away. She locked the doors so that Mahidevran could not get in? Important letter arrives and Sümbul hands it to Mihrimah? Please people. And the fact we saw a hatun walking towards the carriage to show that she's leaving 😂
The creators really messed up the succession to the throne in the series. At that time there was no “chief heir”, all the brothers were equal. The throne was given to the one who, after the death of the Sultan, quickly arrived and sat on this throne, to whom the subjects managed to take an oath. If I’m not mistaken, and I could be wrong, of course, but there were sanjaks closer to Istanbul than Manisa, so it was more profitable to be in them, although they were not considered “the main ones.” Musta behave like a child. He did a lot of things, ignored his father’s warning for the umpteenth time, and now he is offended that his father is punishing him. And he will continue to make these stupid mistakes just to spite everyone, although he will be warned time after time to stop. He brought himself to his grave. Hurrem, of course, added fuel to the fire, but if Mustafa had been smarter, Hurrem and Rustem would not have been able to cling to anything to undermine him. Shahzadeh should sit quietly, not show off, not get into trouble, not tell everyone around him how wonderful, fair and strong he is. And even more so he should not do anything without the knowledge of the Sultan. Mustafa continued to make mistakes, giving another reason to kill himself. And so it happened, in the end he was killed.
Totally agree with you on this 💯 They all always blaming hurrem, but no one talks about their own mistakes due to which they reached bad endings... Of course Hurrem took advantage of their mistakes (because from day 1 everyone was plotting against her without any reason including walidey sultan and so on ) she also started avenging as hurrem has been through a lot. She faced, beating, she was poisoned, she was burned... many a times she has faced death bcoz of the royal family but only She was always punished and exiled while on the other hand no one else was ever punished for their crimes...
Mehmet was a bit TOO pure-hearted. If he had become emperor it might have even been worse than later when Selim took the throne. Mehmet was too trusting, too forgiving, he always thought the best of overs. I don't think he would have had the strength, cunning - and yes, also RUTHLESSNESS that was needed to rule such an empire. One of the first decisions Suleyman made when he took the throne was to behead his brother-in-law. Show of hands please: Who thinks Mehmet would have been hard enough to do such a thing? Why didn't Suleyman take Mustafa to the campaign? He obviously didn't trust him, yet he left him to take care of things at home while Suleyman was at war. If Mustafa really had rebellious thoughts and intentions then this would have been the best opportunity to make his move. Due to some spoiler videos I already know who is behind Hurrem's disappearance. That person acted SO SURPRISED when informed about the "news". No one suspected that person immediately. Alas, Hurrem had plenty of enemies. Out of all of Hurrem's children, Dihangir was by far the most intelligent - emotionally and intellectually.
I agree mehmet would never have even been able to kill his brothers Nevermind anyone else. I hoped he’d harden with age as required but he’s still just naive
She's evil, she did not rest until she killed Mustafa, she's got a lot of blood on her hands. She even admits it took her a long time to get rid of Ibrahim but she succeeded in the end. Her greed for power ruined her children and the ottoman empire in the end.
Amazing that, after 100 episodes, still nobody thought about defeating Hurrem not with mushrooms, black magic, necromancy, etc., but with a good old steel.....
HURREM WILL BE MISSED...such an amazing actress...without her the series isnt the same. She was the fire that turned everybody around. I will keep watching to see how her children and sultan's life will be, but it is not as pleasureable as before😢❤
The dialogues are powerful. The anguish Prince Mustafa felt when he was talking about candles in heart and how distant he felt from his father brought tears 😭. Suleiman has become insecure and paranoid about Mustafa by all the Hirrem gang pours into his ears. Finally, Hurrem spoiled the beautiful brotherly relationship between Mustafa and Mehmet.
@ileanaacacostaacosta1813 it was all Hurrem's doing, she's been wanting to kill Mustafa the moment he steps foot back into the Palace after returning back with his mother. Hurrem poisoned and brainwashed Suleiman with her whispers, she did a lot of evil with Rustem to make Mustafa fall. What about all the plotting and scheming Hurrem did with Rustem behind Suleiman's back? Do you think Hurrem would've been excused if Suleiman knew the real two faced Hurrem? She's a congenital liar, she looks into the eyes of Suleiman and lies to his face. Mustafa tried so hard to please his father, but Suleiman was too blind to see. What did to others came back to haunt her own children.
Yep I just watched for the defeat of the fatma and Mustafa and maidevil fall yet fatma two faced b was there to dethrone her brother yet Suleiman was so darn blind
They always blame Hurrem for everything. Pargali Ibrahim died because of his own greed. He call himself Sultan. Same as Sehzade Mustafa. Always overwrite Sultan Suleiman orders. They deserved it. Why Hurrem is always win? Because her love and loyalty to the Sultan Suleiman.
How stupid is Mustafa. He still thinks Ibrahim is innocent and Sulaiman has killed just by believing rumours😳. Hatice feels that Mustafa is the only son of Suleiman but not Mehmet and others but always blabbers that they are from my blood.😏
Couldn't agree more with you. Sadly, no one questioned on why Ibrahim has been sentenced to death. Everyone is keeping a silent dissatisfy towards His Majesty instead
Hurrem herself admits it took a long time to get rid of Ibrahim but she succeed in the end. She was on a mission to kill Ibrahim from day one. Ibrahim did some silly stuff however he loved Suleiman and felt sad when he acknowledged when Suleiman was upset with him. He even brought back Hurrem from the old Palace when she was banished because Ibrahim loved the king too much, he knew keeping her away from him would cause Suleiman distress. But Hurrem cared less about Ibrahim, she's a narsacist.
He knew what was happening around him. He was kind, humble, and merciful. He was loyal. Sadly, most people around him wanted to take advantage of that.
and blind as a bat to what was happening, to his ssisters, to his own foibles...There is some good wisdom here ( and the original likely had more than the new writers are giving this character ) , but the smartest is Hürrem, who owns what is happening, and always returns to decency, especially with those who have little power and little protection...
No hes acc not. He's so easily swayed esp not directly by hurrem because she's a woman but definitely by all her puppets. And at tomes HE knows def their loyalty like theres no way he dosent know about rustem and hurrem partnership. He chooses to ignore it
@@mariettahead9343 lol 😂😂😂😂 she might have gone to her grave believing that, but Hurrem came back bigger, better and stronger (in the show that is) historical fiction drama!!!

Prince Mehmet killed himself because everything his father told him, instead of telling his mother and sister, he always went and told prince Mustafa . See the face Mustafa give him when he mentioned that he will be going to Manisa after the war.
Mustafa is such a hypocrite. When Suleiman appointed Mehmet as Amasya's governor, Mustafa said that his brother would be so happy that their father is sending him to his province. But when Suleiman appointed the same Amasya province to Mustafa he makes such a scene and says that he has been banished. He's just like his mother🥱
Finally someone else sees Mustafa's jealousy towards Mehmet. When Mustafa was appointed as crown prince Mehmet was so happy for his brother but when the other way around happened Mustafa was kind of jealous
But i think the intent is different here. Back then they just wanted mehmet to have a province and from his experience amasaya was suited for mehmet wirh her campaign experience. Here now though Mustafa is STRIPPED of manisa , semi banished to amasaya and the background intent is because suleiman suspects him. Also mustafa clearly says he dosent care about loosing the province its more that he lost his father
@@maryammashhoudy9160because mustafa was always told it was his and he’d always have it. Mahidevran raised him thinking he’d Be the next sultan. He never thought he’d have to compete as Mahidevran never even let him think his brothers were a factor
So I'm watching this full series for the 3rd time, ...just to make sure of each character's behaviour.....and Hurrem doesn't actually plan anything devious....she just sets the table and instead of ignoring or avoiding it, Mustafa easily grabs and feats on it...and just once...all the other times, he did foolishness on his own. The envoy could have been dismissed ..but like Suleiman says, he wanted to show his power...just like the people who raised him - Mahidevran and Ibrahim. Mustafa is not at all prince material....he's a puppet in the hands of his mommy and aunts. The real prince material is Mehmet...strong, bold, respectful of the sultan and his decisions, patient and abiding by all the rules. I truly wish he lived long n took the throne after Suleiman...
It took me awhile to get used to the new Hurrem . Meryem seemed to appear less and less in the episodes close to her departure. She looked tired. I could tell in her eyes that the show was taking a toll on her.
Every one keeps complaining about Hurrem It was the 1500s That was the style They were all fighting for something Hurrem Sultan was the first woman to influence political decisions behind the scenes Its is kill or either be killed simple Don't ignore the fact that if hurrem was actually cool or nice 🤔 Do u feel Mahidevran,Ibrahim,Hatice etc won't kill her or her kids That was the style then Even if sultana did married only wife and she has male heirs they would still fight and kill each other for the throne. So one way or the other it they all struggled and fought for what they thought was right.
I do not understand why Mercan is never held responsable for not doing his duty to protect the harem -- the prince running away, the guards and persons killed, and he is never held responsable- The writers? What is this???
Why Hurrem gets away with poisoning Mustafa? Why she and Rustem got away with having secret meetings? Do you think Hurrem would've kept her head if Suleiman had a whiff of what she really got upto? Of only he knew she killed princess and her maid let alone all the other's, she's also responsible for the Queen mother's death.
It was 1st episode without the magnificent mereyem😢 our Hurram❤❤❤ miss you, miss ur acting, the series was uncompleted without you, we enjoyed your victories expression, we missed that expressions 😢😢😢❤❤❤

It feels like they changed the storyline when the original Hurrem left, i don't think they would have killed Mehmet if the original Hurrem was still playing the role. they basically fast-forward the storyline after she left and ended the series in such a sad ending.
Still shocked by the producers payingthe suleyman actor 65,000USD per show and the so fine actress of Hürrem only 12,500 per show??? She should of course be getting, by far, the highest salary as 1, she is the diva ( real all the comments, we all know it ; ) and her role is much more impegnativa, demanding than the Suleyman's role. And now I am wondering whom esle is getting paid more than she, and how much the other top actresses in the other principal roles are accepting...for their intense work..Nigar, Hatice, Mirimah, Mahidevran...And I wonder how the Suleyman actor felt about the exchange as well --they had built up over time a super actor's rapport...
I really missed the old Hurrem fits her furious aristocrats character and play the wife of majesty tough, but also very loving kind of a mother to her children...she is tough and can soften the heart of her majesty king Sulaiman even how mad is the majesty...where are you Hurrem I liked the way you rule your Harrem...pls come back

I can't understand why all the decisions of Sultan was blamed to hurrem infact like mustafa he disobeyed the rules. And why mostly if phasas are angry to Rustem Agha it's because he is smart and very wise like when he ambushed he is wise enough that the attackers did nothing
Watch the serial properly...it's because of Hurrem only that Mustafa was banished to Amasya... Hurrem ordered Rustem to do something about this and Rustem in turn sent the foreign envoy to Mustafa's palace due to which Suleiman banished him...Even Mustafa gave the envoy a proper answer ...Mustafa is completely innocent this time...and was also the first time...💚💚💚💚 Mustafa
@@rohanabraham557it’s not about the answer he gave. He accepted the envoy when he should’ve sent them away as the sultan mentioned. Plus you know what he did before. He took a free woman to his harem when he knew the rules and put himself in the place of sultan making decisions as a ruler. You can defend him as much as you want but he knew what he was doing. He basically overshadowed the sultan and everyone knows power can’t be overshadowed. Capudan pasha told him to consult the sultan every time which he didn’t. But you blame everything on hurrem. It’s true she tried to make him fall out of grace but if mustafa did the right thing none of this would have happened.
The way Mahidevran sultan held her anguish and the near-fall outside Suleyman's chamber was respectful.🤔 Hurrem in her place would have thrown an asthmatic gesture, tears, swooned and fell. Later when she meets she will put the drama of how she loves sultan and she is keeping her breath for him😏
You clearly don't remember how dramatic mahideveran has always been in the show while hurrem maintained composure. How she always lied about hurrem to her son but hurrem never spoke bad about them to any of her children but just let them observe the whole situation especially mihrimah
Okay, let's imagine the situation that Rustem did not send the enemy ambassador to Mustafa. Let's say the ambassador himself decided to go to Mustafa. What's changing? Absolutely nothing. Mustafa would have accepted him anyway, because he believes that he has the right to meet with the enemy ambassador on the eve of a military campaign, knowing that the Sultan himself refused him an audience. Mustafa would have made this mistake anyway. All the mistakes, except the letter to the Persian Shah, were made by Mustafa himself and he is to blame for everything that happened to him. But, no, Mustafa will be offended and whine that his father “expelled him from his paradise.” What else could he do? Should I pat him on the head because Shahzadeh does all sorts of crazy things and behaves as if he will become Sultan tomorrow?
Despite the warnings given by Taslicali, mahidevran & lala Mustafa acts in his own way against Suleiman Will... He's has too much pride which lead him to execution by suleiman !! Also shehzade miz bayezid was same as Mustafa which lead to the same fate as mustafa !
Mustafa is disobeying Sultan three times. Yet Mahidevran blames Hurrem for that.. also Ibrahim was executed because he claimed himself as a sultan, yet Mustafa said he was executed because of supporting him.. everyone was very delusional😂
At least Mehmet is kind enough to see sense and knows what this means, unlike his mother and Mihrimah. He has loyalty for his brother Mustafa, he acknowledges Mustafa is the rightful heir to the throne.
Now mihrimah sultan rules the harem , she lives in valide sultan apartnment and no one says anything. But in ep 64 everyone complained for hurrem sultan. Ok...
Mustafa had the best line, "If you do not change your life, life will change you😢"❤ These dysfunctional sultanahs, even after watching their husbands lose their lives, never learned.
Can you imagine how boring the show would be without all the drama I feel bad for mustafa having mahidevran as a mom she never really considered his well being she got him killed
Literally, throughout the whole series, everyone can just waltz into Hurrems' room uninvited, and now that they didn't have an actress for this episode... she magically locked the doors...inconsistent in my opinion.
I dont like that they believe that it was Hurrem's fault that Ibrahim was killed. Ibrahim died because he thought he was the sultan. He let his ego get the better of him. Everything that goes wrong its Hurrems fault. If he has a toothache its her fault lol
Why Mustafa have to act on his own when he is warned twice and have 4 brothers waiting to take up the throne? He should be very cautious.. But just like his mother he also fell out of grace. Yasak
Mahidevran goes straight to Hurrem blaming her for the change in Mustafa's becoming Governor of Anasya (not a bad gig) without any proof. Mahidevran's and Ibiahim's hateful influence is the cause for Hurrem to not trust Mustafa for the fate of her sons if he would become Sultan.
Of course Hatice saying that Mirimah threatens "us"has just confirmed that it is that "us" that is responsable for the abuses whenever Suleyman leaves. Duuuuh!
The thing with mahidevran is she acts on her emotions everytime and ends up hurting mustafa more ! He’s a grown man his actions will have consequences and he has to deal with them!
@@smetiska wow thanks so much, that's really interesting. I wonder why the show creators decided to give Mahidevran that tittle.
You can really feel the absence of Hurrem in this episodes. I mean, before, every time there was a thing about Mustafa to celebrate Hurrem was always on the screen with Zumbul...I wish they at least put the new actress in this episode to have a few scenes.
I miss HURREM/MERYEM I'm really sad watching this episode without her. She is so magnificent and perfect for this role.
I agree
She is amazing but come on the show has more things not just her
Only she fits for the character

And this stubborn son like father Suleiman thinks His son is against him. When Mustafa said my end is drawing near God knows I cried 😭😭 History is heartbreaking
Nothing can look more beautiful than Meryem as Hurrem in this series I'm heart broken watching episode 101
That hatun leaving was not Hurem, she's dressed up .
That's what he said. We know, we aren't stupid. @@catherine1154
Instead of them to realize their mistakes they keep blaming hurrem, that's why she keeps winning 🎉🎉🎉
Totally agree with you on this 💯
They all always blaming hurrem, but no one talks about their own mistakes due to which they reached bad endings...
He was a bit mentally challenged
I agree mehmet would never have even been able to kill his brothers Nevermind anyone else. I hoped he’d harden with age as required but he’s still just naive
34:35 Finally ! someone realizes that everything is not Hurrem's fault !
I swear; Hurrem clears her throat and everyone blames her for an earthquake!😂
She's evil, she did not rest until she killed Mustafa, she's got a lot of blood on her hands.
She even admits it took her a long time to get rid of Ibrahim but she succeeded in the end.
Her greed for power ruined her children and the ottoman empire in the end.
What a line😂😂
What beautiful outffit and coats the sultans, pashas, princes and other important men wear! Also the heats! Pur Silk and beautiful embroidery too 😍
Amazing that, after 100 episodes, still nobody thought about defeating Hurrem not with mushrooms, black magic, necromancy, etc., but with a good old steel.....
😂😂😂😂😂 lol the did try stabbing her with a knife but it was the wrong victim. They could t even get that right 😂😂😂😂😂😂
HURREM WILL BE MISSED...such an amazing actress...without her the series isnt the same. She was the fire that turned everybody around. I will keep watching to see how her children and sultan's life will be, but it is not as pleasureable as before😢❤
So true Meryem Uzerli was the very best! No one else could grab your attention the way she could ❤
The dialogues are powerful.
Yes
Hurrem dint need to spoil anything for Mustafa he made many mistakes that spoiled his relations with his dad the sultan really
So I need to get used to be watching this series with out Meryem's beautiful face😢
Yep I just watched for the defeat of the fatma and Mustafa and maidevil fall yet fatma two faced b was there to dethrone her brother yet Suleiman was so darn blind
I'm tired of hearing Hurrem being blamed for everything.

You can just feel Meryem’s absence. So sad she left but it was for her wellness.
Mahidevran is an example of a woman who can't find her strength and shows her weakness. a man with power would never love a woman like her
They always blame Hurrem for everything. Pargali Ibrahim died because of his own greed. He call himself Sultan. Same as Sehzade Mustafa. Always overwrite Sultan Suleiman orders. They deserved it. Why Hurrem is always win? Because her love and loyalty to the Sultan Suleiman.
Physically Hurrem wasnt in this episode. But you would have thought she was by how much her name keep being brought up.
Ibrahim is innocent and a great for the dynasty.
I learned a lot from Suleiman. He’s really smart. Full of wisdom sultan.
He knew what was happening around him. He was kind, humble, and merciful. He was loyal. Sadly, most people around him wanted to take advantage of that.

That dreadful jealous Mahidrevan, when will she be gone! If I was the sultan I would get rid of her quick!
I like the way mihirim told all of them that if that touch on her mom that they will not go away with it
Prince Mehmet killed himself because everything his father told him, instead of telling his mother and sister, he always went and told prince Mustafa .
Once again Hurrem wiped the smile off their faces 😂😂😂😂
What u expect. He was given to go Manisa but hurrem removed him
Finally someone else sees Mustafa's jealousy towards Mehmet.

Even if sultana did married only wife and she has male heirs they would still fight and kill each other for the throne.

Mustafa couldn’t accept the fact that he was given a very high position, shame
Rustem is so good at controlling his emotions
