Wait a 1972 penny struck over a 1964 silver dime, Sounds a little fishy to me , my thoughts on that is that someone at the mint plant is trying to pull some easy money.

I have a 1934 D wheat penny, the last year of the Reds. Lincoln's ear is split in two. Is this a rare find? Any idea on its worth would be appreciated. Will sell for a fair price. Returns & refunds, OK. I'm new. My first post.

I haven't been doing this long and already have quite a collection but had no idea about people washing coins. I had a yard sale and got to talking to a neighbor and he had a bunch of wheat pennies as well as a sleeve with zinc pennies and asked would I make a trade for some of the silver jewelry I had he wanted. I watched your video once and kinda started looking through some he traded me and almost all of the ones that he had rolled had been washed. So valuable or not I know the grading costs a good amount so really don't have a clue if it would be worth paying. Thanks for the videos❤
Hi Susan Rednour! Yes, unfortunately if a coin has been cleaned, it degrades the value from the coin grading companies. 😎

I think the viewers should be told these coins that have errors etc are not high in number.
The reason they sell for so much is because they are rare. Very rare.
This channel and only a couple others point out that the amount they sold for was because of their rarity.
I've been going through coins forever, and I do it because I love coins. I wouldn't sell any of them UNLESS, they could make me a millionaire, which we all know ain't gonna happen.
But the viewers should know how rare it is to find a coin worth even a hundred dollars.
Thank you for being one of the very few channels that point that part out.
I've listened to my friend complain that her husband keeps spending hundreds of dollars monthly on rolls of coins, only to find zero of any worth, save for one or two being worth about $6.
I told her to relax because they can be out right back into the account. No harm no foul. But it still bothers her, lol, because she's the one that has to go deposit then after he's gone through them. That part is funny to me! I say just let him do his thing. He's home and safe so what's the problem?
Also, I do not believe any place sells coins that have not been searched for high dollar collectables. That would be ridiculous. Y'all know they have been searched through. Sure they'll leave a couple of those $6 coins in there, but they've been gone. through.
Consider that you're not trading $200 in paper for $200 in pennies. It doesn't work that way. They have to make money somehow. You can get rolls from the bank for that matter.
I may not know exactly how it works but I'll never believe anybody wouldn't go through the coins in case there's a rare bird in there. 🤨

I've bought those unsearched wheat penny rolls from coins tv in the recent past and mostly got alot of common wheat pennies and only found 1 1909 VDB wheat penny in decent shape but good luck on your search on those as well

is it possible to get a coin graded at no cost im homless with no job and no source of income ,but i recently got into my possession a 1992 no mint mark close am penny can someone ANYONE please help me out im tired of living in the woods pulling tics off myself every morning among other inhumane stuff i got to deal with
Auction it without it being graded. You won't make as much but it'll get you something!
Sorry to hear this . I havd a dear friend Living in woods as well . Bad as i hate to say needs authenticity and graded cost 50 bucks insurance is advised as well. Good news if its real its worth thousands. Pcgs will hook you up. Good luck God bless

If you have a valuable coin you want to get it graded by PCGS. Having it graded bumps the selling price of that coin by 10x! So a coin that is worth $100 after getting graded is now $1,000. Its worth it!
Then if you decide to get it graded and you get the coin back you want to sell it through "Heritage Auctions". I have found they get the most amount of money.
Also, you can reach out to Heritage Auctions, if I remember correctly, and you can send them pictures of your coin(s) and they will tell you if you do in fact have something valuable.

I got 2 wheat penny rolls from cointv a few months ago and got a 1944 steal penny and a 1944 copper penny both no mint mark on them from the same roll.

You know when i first saw a video about a 1982 small date penny and the vallue it sold at auctions i forever was hooked on coin collection. But the thing you other collection people failed to tell me is the auctions are complete assholes and wont even allow your coin to be auctioned and even the local coin and gold dealer downtown wont give you a red cent for any error coins or anything like xou guys advertise the value. On you tube. All my enthusiasm and hope and joy of finding error pennys to sale at auctions is all gone just like the 1969s

This is my first time watching this channel, & after soo many other channels/creators/disappointments I surprisingly pirked up fairly quickly into this one..
