Your reviews are such a joy. Extremely informative and great timing. Will look into the Beauty if Joseon Red Bean gel moisturiser. I have oily skin and I need lighter products for the summer. Thank you Kelly, you are wonderful ❤
Granted, I do have pretty oily skin but I'm using the Cosrx Hydrium Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel almost every single day. It's really, really light and weightless but very hydrating and soothing. It sinks in really well but isn't heavy at all. Perfect for my skin in the summer. Love this video and your recommendations. Thank you!!
For the friends who are actually super oily -- I have the BoJ Red Bean Water Gel and it's not that lightweight. I use it as my summer nighttime moisturizer. It sets to a natural-matte finish but you will get oily pretty quickly. It is very moisturizing and relatively light while being a gel-with-some-body texture, but it's still not light enough for daytime wear for me. My holy grail for daytime on hot days is still the IUNIK Centella Gel moisturizer, which is VERY light with a mattifying finish. However it's definitely not that hydrating/moisturizing (not a good match for dry skin) so I use it over a more hydrating toner.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm just about to buy it! The BePlain Aqua Hyuluron gel cream is good and matte. It's one of the few that feels good under spf for me.
I was so happy to see you talk about the Skin1004 Probio-Cica Enrich Cream. I think this is my favorite, best performing K-Beauty moisturizer ever, and I have tried and liked many. I find it hydrating, complimenting my hydrating toner and essence, but it has the “hug” of moisture that you talk about, it just occlusive enough without being too emollient. FYI, I have mature skin, previously combination-now dryer and rosacea to complicate things.
Thank you for another stellar video filled with valuable info Kelly! Hey are you excited to try the new Then I Met You Essence Sunscreen????? Can’t wait for your review ❤❤
The moisturizer I reeeally love in this category is Purito Oat-in calming gel cream. Im combo oily and it is my AM moisturizer. The absolute best out there!
I absolutely love the Thank You Farmer Moisturizer. I tried them separately at first but kept combining them. So, I just made the decision to combine the entire thing together in the jar. I looooove it this way! Can't wait to investigate more of these!
Love the sound of the Skin 1004 I'm using Jin Jung Sung and iunik beta glucan moisturizerers at night BRTC vitamin seeping pack Add oils or liquid gold as needed
Hi Kelly! Hoping you'd get to try the renewed Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence. I heard they added more peptides into it. Thanks and really looking forward to your review of it. 😊💞
I have not used them yet, but this summer, a couple moisturizers I plan on using are the Heimish moisture surge gel and Chicho herb infused calming cream. Right now in late winter early spring weather I am using the Cocokind texture repair celery moisturizer, in the morning. I love it, it is a medium light weight, and I love the smell. I had been using the 100percentpure mushroom peptide moisturizer all summer last year and then as a double layer into the winter. It is incredibly light and absorbs super quickly, very easy to add some facial oil to. I like trying new products so I am hoping I like the next two on my list!
the thing i found about the purito rebarrier cream is that you cant use it on its own. i have combo skin and i used it right after i washed my face cos i was so lazy to put toners etc and let me tell you. my skin on the inside felt so dehydrated and dry but when you touch it, it felt silky and not dry at all. it left me itchy at night and i had to wash my face again, do my proper skincare routine, added my regular moisturizer and then the purito as my last step. that made my feel feel hydrated and plump.
Hi Kelly I have super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin and live in Scotland. Summer tends to be quite a short season here and is surprisingly quite humid. Most of the year I love a rich, buttery, comforting moisturiser and indeed at night usually need a body cream as my night moisturiser eg LRP Lipikar or the PC soothing body cream (or sometimes both layered). Summer is when I use up the creams I bought to try that just weren't enough for my skin in the rest of the year. This time around it will be the pacifica vegan ceramide cream. It's a pleasant moisturiser with a decent INCI list, but it's nowhere near rich enough for my skin most of the time. For the last several months i've been using the KS Delikate cream and the PC ultra rich moisturiser as my daytime picks - both rich enough to keep my skin comfortable, but not so greasy I can't wear spf over them. the Pacifica will work in those warm/humid days of Summer when my buttery moisturisers won't sink in. It's only ever a few weeks of the year here and then back to the rich creams I go. I always have a facial oil in place to amp up moisture on the cooler days if necessary. I wish I could use those lighter gel or fluffy moisturisers, but they disappear almost instantly and I'm parched within a couple of hours. At 51 parched is not a good look and makes me look so much more wrinkly lol. Best wishes.
I have all of the conditions you listed minus the eczema. I have enjoyed mixing PC Omega cream with Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream for a last step at night. You may like it. I do not like the texture of the Omega cream on its own but it makes a great mix with a heavier moisturizer!😊
@@karenshahwan6612 Hi thanks I have the omega serum and layer that under my night time moisturiser. Currently I'm using the PC soothing body cream as my night moisturiser. I have the Illyoon on order for the warmer months - having tried it before it's not heavy enough for the colder months (I'm super dry). It will work in the warmer months at night for me however. thanks for the suggestion. Eczema does make a massive difference in the dryness of skin - add in rosacea and fully menopausal and you have something approaching the desert as far as dryness lol. x
So, per your recommendation, I’ve fallen head over heels with the Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream… Are you familiar with the lighter lotion version and the Hydro Soothing Cream in that line? Now, I have my holy grail moisturizer wardrobe! I’m using the Hydro Soothing Cream as a spring/summer/fall morning moisturizer, as well as a first moisturizer under a thicker moisturizer at night for all seasons. It’s really helping my skin acclimate to a retinoid (BoJ retinal). The cream will be replaced with the lotion on summer nights! If you haven’t already, maybe a partnership with Aestura to explain all of the moisturizer choices in their Atobarrier365 line would make for a good video? I believe there’s even a mist version.
Love Iunik Black Snail Restore Cream, good for sensitive skin, very soothing & hydrating, it is not moisturizing enough for dry skin, I would need another layer of heavy moisturizer ....
Great recs!❤ Have you tried the Ample:n Hyaluron shot light gel cream? It looks like a great option for summer! It’d be great if you could make a review of it
I love that gel cream for daytime, after hydrating toner and before Nivea jp light sunscreen! I have normal skin type, acne prone but not oily. That gel cream is great for day time but not enough at night, even after I use hydrating serum. I'm living in humid, tropical country
I’ve been using Skinfood’s royal honey enrich barrier cream day and night since i love how thick it is and how plump my skin is, but i’m starting worry that it’s not as great under makeup (or my anessa sunscreen milk didn’t agree with my already matte foundation…. Or espoir’s Be Velvet is too dry for my skin 😅 yeah ive been trying to figure out which is the culprit) I used a sample bottle of Goodal’a Vegan Rice Milk Moisturizer Cream but I can’t exactly remember my experience with it, but I wanna know if you’ve tried it since you love the Rice Milk Toner? ☺️ Or if you can recommend a good moisturizer under makeup? 👀
Kelly 18:34 do you think i could use the skin1004 at both day and night when i have combo skin? I’ve heard yons of reviews abt this, and i want to know if you consider this to be, a thick cream?
whats a good serum you think to use over retin-a for combo skin? i can get dry from retin-a but my zone is oily in the summer. I was debating between the purito centella unscented surm, rnw ceramide, mediheal bamboo serum, or beauty of josean green tea one or ginseing one or the propolis one.
Hey, I actually talked about that product a lot during 2018/2019 (when it was still really indie!) You can search my channel for those videos (spoiler, I liked it!)
16:08 i have normal skin- that can sometimes get oily when it doesn’t get enough hydration. I’ve heard tons of reviews of oily ppl liking this, i want to ask if you think it would be ok for me to use it in the morning in hot weather! Or even if i was sitting at home, your opinion?
Every time I see the Iunik Black Snail Restore Cream I 😢😭 I'm almost 💯 certain soybean breaks me out. This is a product I've been wanting to try for so long but I'm not going to risk breaking out.
Hey! If anyone sees this and can give me a rec, I'd greatly appreciate it! SO I love the purito rebarrier panthenol cream (the slightly occlusive gel type) but its a tad bit too greasy for me. Anybody know something similar texturewise but less greasey? Thanks!
Normal skin is quite rare in adults. You're one of the lucky ones, you can use pretty much anything. If you're looking for something in between then it will be a cream from around the middle of this video. Kelly describes every product very thoroughly.
Kelly please can you talk more about the products itself instead of go deep with your knowledge about the ingredients . We want to know about how the product feel and how it’s the specific product. You know what I mean , sometimes we don’t want a looong video with a lot of extra info instead of going to the point of interest for us .
Mhm I understand, but I disagree, i think she explains the texture quite thoroughly, and most ppl want to know abt the ingredients to know if there’s something that doesn’t agree with their skin or if they’re looking for specific star ingredients liek ceramides for example- everyone’s obsessed with them

Awww thank you so much, I'm feeling those good vibes! Your support means so much, that's what keeps me going! 🙏❤
I agree! I've been a fan since late 2020❤
I couldn’t agree more!🤩🤩
Texture description queen strikes again! Wow these hydration and texture descriptions are incredible. Kelly you have a gift!
I was JUST going to search Kelly's videos for EXACTLY this and once again...Kelly is coming through clutch 👌🏻
Perfect timing!💗
Me too! She’s a great resource.
the purito panthenol rebarrier cream is sooo good and underrated + it gives you a nice glow that get me some compliments
I LOVE that moisturizer! I've been trying others but can't wait to go back to the Purito ReBarrier ❤.
My oily skin loves boj red bean gel. It's amazing -- so lightweight but feels so hydrating. I feel like it's underrated!
My niece has oilier skin than me and I bought that for her. She loves it too!
Great recommendations. I love how well u explain each product!
Great video as always. Kelly, you have such a pure energy and I am praying your channel gets the recognition it deserves.
This is exactly what I needed now. Thanks for this video
this is PERFECT timing! It is sooooo hot where I live right now!! Thanks Kelly ❤❤

Ive been using the “im from rice cream” nightly N OMFFF SOOO BRIGHTNING , SOOTHING N DEEPLY MOISTURIZING😍
Oh yeah that cream is lovely!💖
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream is seriously the best cream I have ever used in my life.
I love myself a Kelly skincare video! 😍
I am going to like this video even before watching it. So really needed 👐🏻🙋🏻. Thanks 🌸.
Enjoy!❤

I love Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream for this, it’s so bouncy, love this one and the jumbo jar lasts so long.
I haven't tried it since it was reformulated a few years ago but I remember it being very plump and juicy!
I love your channel and all your videos.❤

The way you describe the products.... You are GREAT ❤
So glad you enjoy!
You always break down these videos beautifully ❤️
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy the structure!
Agreed!
I absolutely love the Thank You Farmer Moisturizer. I tried them separately at first but kept combining them. So, I just made the decision to combine the entire thing together in the jar. I looooove it this way! Can't wait to investigate more of these!
Mixed together creates magic!!

Omg so good, I just finished my bottle!👍
Your skin type?
JUST the video I needed! I love the round lab birch cream it's hydrating but the tiny capsules always remain on my face and look horrendous!
the thing i found about the purito rebarrier cream is that you cant use it on its own. i have combo skin and i used it right after i washed my face cos i was so lazy to put toners etc and let me tell you. my skin on the inside felt so dehydrated and dry but when you touch it, it felt silky and not dry at all. it left me itchy at night and i had to wash my face again, do my proper skincare routine, added my regular moisturizer and then the purito as my last step. that made my feel feel hydrated and plump.

the moisture power enriched cream is my favourite! :) curious about the skin1004 pro bio cream though
Mhm me too im normal to oily skin tho. Yet k beauty rich creams always feel light so i dunno if i should
Kelly, u look very cute today🥺
Hey Kelly, would the Purito dermide barrier relief cream be included in this list for normal to dry skin in hot weather?
Add the snail to a moisturizer andd wham...bam...thank you ma'am❤😂
Hello mam suggest some best moisturizer for tretinoin user during summer
^ For dry skin.... which is your fav to wear under SPF and light foundations/tints? especially to avoid dry patches?

Any of those would be good with the exception of the BOJ propolis, I find the gel rather moisturizing and thick for summer!
Hi Kelly! would you say most of these moisturizers work well under makeup?
All of them do imo!

Hi Kelly, I just want to let you know that you put the wrong link for the Skin1004 Centella Probio-Cica Enrich Cream in the description.
Thanks, fixed!
Can I layer cosrx all in one cream with beauty of joseon water essence and serum????
Yes!
Isn't coconut oil an acne-casuing ingredient?
Which moisturizer would you recommend for oily/combo skin
Hey! If anyone sees this and can give me a rec, I'd greatly appreciate it! SO I love the purito rebarrier panthenol cream (the slightly occlusive gel type) but its a tad bit too greasy for me. Anybody know something similar texturewise but less greasey? Thanks!
Maybe Rovectin Lotus Cream?
Oooo! I haven't tried that yet. I'll look into it. Tysm!
The Purito helped me so much but I hated the film it left on me. It was so weird and yucky
Why do influencers never include normal skin? We need stuff that ain’t too heavy or too light so we can maintain the skin in the normal state! 😢
