Hi. Thanks for the video. Is it better than the Seestern version? Perhaps some commentary on the thing that most stands out with this watch? That being the implication conveyed by the text that this watch is an ISO 3425 compliant watch. Being a cheap Chinese homage I rather suspect that it is not and they are lying by making the claim of "Diver's 300M". What do you think?
Hey, thanks for watching. Yes, I agree with you regarding the ISO testing, I’m sure it hasn’t happened. I think the watches have improved over the last several years. I know independent studies have been made on Seestern, Addiesdive, and Steeldive and they have done well. Like you, I suspect the “claims” are iffy at best. Lastly, I like Seestern myself and believe it to be a level above. Thanks for reaching out. If you have a review suggestion for various watches please let me know. All the best, Jason
@@mydudewatch You are welcome. I just thought it might be worth mentioning, although I do realise there might be some inhibitions in calling them out too much. I've had my eye on the Seestern for a while but I'm trying to avoid giving the Chinese too much of my money these days. It's difficult though. They make such nice stuff and I admit to owning an assortment of Steeldive, PD, San Martin, Tactical Frog and even a Phylida. (The TinTin Speedster copy). Good luck with your channel.
