@@mmorgan901 it was ford racing aluminum block with stock heads and ported blower. 2.76” upper with 4 pound lower. Full exhaust, return fuel system etc. Was a really fun setup.
Good to see still getting videos of the car 20 years after release. Curious in the support mods with a ported Eaton. Mines mostly stock and I'm wondering which direction to go, also jealous you have someone to film you. Shit looks good almost identical to mine
When the car had a ported Eaton it had 60lb injectors, a return fuel system with dual 255lph pumps(not required but recommended) and a few other things such as plenum, throttle body, 4lb lower pulley with 2.76 upper pulley. Made about 18 psi of boost at close to 500whp. Upgraded clutch and built IRS made it all work together really well.
Thank you! That’s cool, the mineral gray is a really nice color. Car made 670whp on a conservative pump gas tune with 18 pounds of boost. Definitely capable of a lot more.
@@HarpellAutoFab That's a perfect hp number for the street. Mine dynod at 621whp with a whipple 2.3 gen 2 also on 18psi boost. I have a griptec 3.0 upper pulley to replace the 3.5 that's on it now. That will put me around 20-21 psi and 680-700whp.
@@tomkjr1 I agree!! That’s good power for the street on a drag radial. I had plans to turn mine up but ended up snapping a timing chain on a fresh rebuild, so gonna keep it conservative for a bit.
@@HarpellAutoFab That's the thing about adding more power...the higher you go, the more things are needing to be upgraded to keep it a safe and strong build. But once you get all the i's dotted and t's crossed, your car will be a blast to drive!
A beauty of a Car!...not that mean look or brutal designs...its nice, well done and decent stile...love it...but the color is a lil bit boring..yellow or red would be a nice upgrade for the Pony
My dream setup is to get a dark shadow Grey vert with a ported Eaton setup.. but me being only 18 I don't have that kind of money..... yet.... ported Eaton is the loudest and best sounder SC
Thank you! Fronts are 275/35/18 on a 9” wide wheel. Rears are 305/35/18 on a 10.5” wheel. Car is currently on coil overs all around but had H&R sport springs with no isolators before. If I had to guess, it’s probably at least 2” lower than stock.
All you need to do is get the Eaton or whatever blower you choose to use ported, double pulley combo it to make it spin faster/make more power, use the biggest intake you can get for it, and remove the vent covers that should yield you the loudest whine results with any brand supercharger you use, but if the blower is efficient you’ll only make more power and never get a louder whine point blank, and using quieter exhaust helps with hearing the blower more too
Kenne Bell makes a good supercharger. Try and find a old school 2.2 if you want the loudest whine. Twin turbo is a whole different story and depends on your personal preference and goals but can't go wrong with either.
Only do a KB if you only care about whine sound. They sound great but that is it. They're old technology and get heat soak just as quick as the stock eatons. I've seen them pull strong the first run and then fall on their face on pulls after. If you want power and reliability stick with Whipple and VMP. Even just a 2.3 vmp or whipple will out work a 2.2 and a 2.6 KB. Turbo is a whole can of worms and I don't have experience there.
@HarpellAutoFab best I got with a steg stage 4 was 11.58 @ 123 power shifting, factory 17s, irs, and I believe a 1.7 60 ft. On nittos 315 drag radials.. im ready for a blower upgrade. Beautiful terminator bro!
@@josephf593That a good time! My best 60’ was also 1.7. Can’t wait to get it back to track with the whipple on a proper drag setup to see what it will do.
You’re right. Racing through traffic or in busy streets is not worth the risk. A small pull on a highway or a quick dig on a quiet road is harmless for the most part. I’ve had other drivers want to race on busy streets and I’ve never engaged.
at least you didn't do donuts in the streets, love that supercharger whine. great video
Always find a safe place where there is no traffic to play around!
The screamin’ Eaton 🔥🔥

It did have an awesome sound. I’ve had the car for around 10 years now!
Good stuff! Glad to see some other cobra content. 👍
Thank you! Can’t wait for summer to share more.
Cobra man is awesome
THIS IS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN🤩🤩🤩😍😍
Props! Someone put in a lot of work keeping the engine bay clean and tidy!👏👏👏👏
That’s a sweet video, lots of different action on the car. Sweet sound, looks clean!
Thanks a lot! Had some good times with the ported Eaton setup.

Who owns the 347 stroker fastback? I came for the supercharger whine but saw how clean the fastback was and couldn’t resist asking lol
Haha yeah it’s a friend of mine. Really clean car and it rips. I believe he just put a bigger turbo on it.
The OG hellcat
Sounds pretty wicked ! 👌👍
Yeah the Eaton sounded awesome!

Why she be shifting weird though 😕 when she was going into launch and after as well she is beautiful no thought
I was shifting like a grandma in most of these clips, so probably just me.
Where did u getbthat gauge behind ur steering wheel? Cool ride bro

Whats the going rate to port a Eaton blower?
I’m not sure on that one. There are usually a few kicking around that are ported for sale for a reasonable price.
