Every. Damn. Time. I have heard some intense one-liners in the hundreds of anime series I've watched, but Hakuro reached a godly level with those words.
One of my favourite Slime LN chapters is titles simply "Rage" and oh boy i hope one day i see it animated. that whole arc is fun

Kinda disappointed they didnt do the Light novel version of megiddo, he did it in waves and the first wave he realized they were dying too fast so starting the second wave he would "miss" occasionally and not kill them instantly so that he would create terror/panic across the army by having people screaming and have people get their limbs cut off...hes basically shooting plasma at them so when they are shot it cauterizes the wounds upon existing the body which left some poeple dead standing without people near to them realizing they were already dead

The wave thing actually has purpose, each one of those lasers are done by extreme calculations. You have to redirect the sunlight and lenses to each person after all. So Rimuru did it per wave as calculations are needed and re-summoning the water spirits (the water droplets and lenses) are also necessary.
Even more hilarious is the soldiers tried to resist each wave and get killed.
1st wave (1000 dead)
"use your barriers!"
"we can't!"
2nd wave (1000 dead mages)
"Raise your shields up"
3rd wave(1000 dead soldiers with shields)
"use holy magic"
4th wave (1000 Templar knights dead)
Eventually they all panicked and just did whatever like running, crying, and praying.

Fun fact the author made the super OP healing potion too early that he started making situations that you can't use easily or have some limitations. This is one of those times with Gobta and Hakurou not being able to be healed by full potions. There are other times like if you have a constitution of rejecting magic into your body, Too strong a body that the potion is rejected, and if an attack is embedded with art.
So far they've done a great job from not using it for every situation
That's a common sense. Happened in almost all stories which try to create a realistic world.
Episode 10 is like therapy, it's just pure happiness and satisfaction.

@@Angel_Rod except if you read the manga (idk if it's the LN as well) there is a bonus chapter where you can see a nice father of two girls who was forced to fight in order to earn enough money for his daughters (his wife was already dead) but Rimuru killed him in the process, his last words were to rimuru asking him to let his daughters live which rimuru answered that he didn't have the will nor the need to kill them. This guy then joined his wife while thinking that he could've told his daughters that god was not that tall (refering to Rimuru)
ps: sry if it isn't clear, not a native english speaker so it's sometimes difficult to tell a story like this

Kyouya’s ability makes time pass 300 times slower for him.
The brain can live for around 3 minutes (180 seconds) without oxygen.
Assuming his brain lives 3 minutes, exactly:
180*300=54,000 seconds = 900 minutes = 15 hours
He used the thought acceleration which is 1000x faster. So it’s 50 hours.
Anyway, he lived beheaded long enough to despair and reflect upon his life decisions. I only hope he accepted death in the end.
@@albuspercivalwulfricbriand5363 Many skills have thoought acceleration as part of thier tool kit but the degree to which they work varies. I can't remember off hand how high spec Kyoua's is of the top of my head but since he used the 300 number in episode i'm leaning toward that.
Kyoya can only do upto 300 seconds. Also the average human can only do upto 300 as well credits to the side story of "rimuru's escape"
I'm pretty sure Kyoya's ability slows time by 300 times. It appears that he is completely dead by the time Hakurou gets back to Geld, unless appearances are deceiving. So it doesn't look like he stayed alive for hours afterwards.
Kyoya thought he was all that because of this Skill not realizing that he was actually at the low end of the Thought Acceleration spectrum, and he wasn't alone having that kind of Skill. I don't know what those people controlling that trio were thinking, letting them believe they were unbeatable.

the first major drop and climb back up is almost over on this coaster ride. i have to say megiddo is 1 of my fav attacks and is something id expect from a person who never experienced magic, had no idea of the trappings and traditions and applied the 'common knowledge' of their previous life with the assist of a built in ai intent on helping its master however it can.

Geld's beatdown and Hakuro's message to Razen (the magic user) is still the best for me in this mini arc. That's just satisfying 😌

@@Angel_Rod I suggest you to at least read the manga chapter 65 ,65.5 and 66 for that (to see how rimuru made them suffer) . 65.5 is totally phenomenal (a chapter from a soldiers pov when rimuru killing them) sadly anime didn't adapted it cuz it was manga exclusive.

BTW, @ 41:16 you see that shield break. What they cut out was Geld bringing out another one from his "Stomach" ability. Geld has basically the same ability Rimiru does, just a smaller version. Their two powers, as master and servant, are connected. Also, those shields are made from Charybdis' scales. I reallt wisy this had all made it in. Not knowing these facts will make future events make less sense.

I just caught with light novel I don’t know what is it that I loved abt this show but I loved it the light novel was so easy to read and understand definitely one of my favorites
Would be better if you did episode 10 and 11 in one video, but at least you finally saw what I meant regarding season 2.. And aside from this war, the upcoming topics that will be discussed are phenomenal. An anime were it is not only fight to the death but also political aspects. My all time favorite isekai by far.
