- We all have villagers that we know and love but who are the most popular villagers in Animal Crossing? With New Horizons having 413 villagers here are the top 5 ones that were voted the best. Starting off at number 5 we have Bob. I mean this is completely valid, look at him he’s perfect in every aspect. At number 4, we have Marshal which doesn’t surprise me at all. What can I say he’s a very cute squirrel. At number 3 we have another cat and that’s Raymond. I’ll never forget when new horizons first came out and people were selling him for actual money. At the number 2 spot, we have Shino which is honestly completely understandable. She’s absolutely amazing and has a very unique style. Now the number one most voted for popular villager in Animal Crossing is none other than Kid Cat. This is actually pretty surprising to me but you know I do love kid cat so I think he deserves the number one spot. #animalcrossing
I had Marshal, Raymond, and Marina on my very first island....I loved them. Marina is on my current island, but I can't get to best friend level with her like I did before
Dang, those first two are so lucky! Especially together. Marina's awesome, too, but she isn't as rare as the others.
My most popular villagers are Roald, Marina, Aurora, & debatably Cephalobot

If you give a villager a gift wrapped appraised fossil over 3k bells each day it’ll give you max friendship points and it won’t make their house all cluttered with decorations. Thats how I got all my villagers to best friend level to get their photos

Shino it's an interesting character. Her horns, fangs and Japanese aesthetic indicate she's some type of Oni dear hybrid
I think she's a water deer, they've got these kind of tusks and live in east asia

I had been searching for raymond forever and after 2 years i gave up looking. I wanted to get him in a legit way without using the black market and mostly because he reminded me of the office tv show and i love the office. Just a month ago, i had a friend over and i let her visit my island. I had a camper and when i walked in that tent
It was him. The man the myth the legend himself in my camp after 4 years. I have spoiled him and I’m almost at the highest friendship level with him
You can get any villager that you want you just need Nintendo online for a couple of months. Then you can search up for treasure islands on twitch and go to an island with your favorite villager if you have a free space on your island.
I was honestly expecting Ankha at Number 1. I actually have Marshal and Raymond. Raymond took 68 NMT to find but he was worth it. I did have Bob as well but let him leave to make room for Sasha. But I did find Bob at the HHP do I made him a fun vacation home with his wife, Mitzi.
If you have an amiibo of a villager you want, you can invite them to your campsite. Then ask them if they want to move to your island.
@@QueenofDragonsandlove I know, that's how I got Sasha. But I got Raymond before the New Horizons cards were announced. I wanted him so I just dedicated my free time to villager hunting. And like I said it took 68 tries before I finally stumbled onto him.
@sonicguyver7445 I've never played animal crossing really, but my knowledge of it comes from watching gameplays of New horizons online (Zackscott) and I like Raymond's design. He's definitely a fan favourite among players 🤣
@@QueenofDragonsandlove You really should try it. I've played every version since GameCube. Got a whole lot of those old e-reader cards too. And plenty of amiibo cards too. Got a lot during New Leaf when Toys R US was still open.

My favorite is Lolly^^ I was so sad when she moved away in New Leaf. I currently have Shino on my island in New Horizons and she's really cool ^^

The reveal building up to the last villager, a cat no less, was insane, I was actually shaking. This is the same kind of heart pumping terror you have when you have a gun against your head, one barrel in the chamber, and four shots have been made. You could only guess my relief when it wasn't [that] villager.

The Raymond fever back in 2020 was absolutely INSANE. Personally I just wanted Rhonda cuz she was in my New Leaf town and is my fav villager, so when I got him on an island I just kinda giggled and left cuz I new it’d piss people off LMAOOO
I managed to get a Raymond on Nookazon back in 2020 for a relatively cheap (in-game) price, and he’s still chilling on my island to this day!
I would choose Nibbles over Marshall any day! She is awesome!

I traveled 3 months through time and space just to get a chance of her coming to my island. 😅 For anyone that doesn't know the year limit to Nintendo time system is 2060. If you reached that year and start to freak out. Reconnect it to the wifi time and try again.😂

Raymond was my 14th villager on my current island. Took one nook miles ticket to find him after Klaus left. I’m four years too late to the party.
I never met any of the villagers on this list and shocked Maple or Rosie isnt in the top. Id LOVE to have Shino, who is gorgeous! My absolute favorite villager who is perfect in every way is Apollo.
Honestly surprised by the Kid Cat, but not at all surprised with Marshal (tho I forgot about them tbh) Shino, Bob, and Raymond especially. Tho I’m surprised that Ankha, Ione, and Sasha aren’t on this one. Basically any super cute and unique characters are super appealing and expensive on the market so seeing some on this list is unexpected at least.
kid cat was one of my starter villagers, raymond was the first camp villager, and bob was my first ticket villager. god am i lucky
I have Marshall, Shino, and Raymond on my island. I love all of them and I’m at max friendship level with Raymond. I used to have Kid Cat (he was my starting jock villager) but I wanted more species diversity on my island since I also wanted to have Olivia, so I have Dom as my jock villager instead.
i have raymond, marshal, molly, fauna, merengue, marina, filbert, diana, melba and flurry... honestly, no clue how i got so lucky to have all those pretty famous villagers :D
My girlfriend told me I remind her of all of these characters, so it's nice to see I'm the best. 😂
I have Raymond! Fun fact about him- I did NOT get him on a mystery island. He was my FIRST campsite villager!! And I still have him till this day! I hate my other villagers tho-

I remember when you first build the campsite they make you invite the first villager to stay there to live on your island. My first camper was Raymond and a day after he moved in i learned about the people selling him online.
I’ve got Shino and Raymond on my island, and they’re alright. I definitely prefer Shino, though. My favourite villagers are probably the least popular ones… I’m talking to you, Daisy and Maple! (I do enjoy Zucker, though!)
I personally don’t understand Marshall or Kid Cat, or even Raymond really, but I get that everyone has their own personal connections to whoever they just happen to get. My personal favorites are Rosie and Mitzi, and I really really want Julian, Coco and Sasha on my island lol

Personally, my top 5 favourite villagers are: Nan, Pietro, Raddle, Sherb, and Tiansheng. Raddle is actually one of my island ogs, and I just celebrated his birthday a couple days ago. Got his poto out of it

Marshal is my fav top villager. I would love Shino if she were a snooty type. Her physical traits just give off a dark elegance to me so I was disappointed when they revealed that she was a peppy type.

Raymond is my favorite. For the first 1 1/2 years I played NH, I had been trying so hard to get him, but I was FINALLY able to get him after getting his amiibo card. He's been on my island for over 2 years, and I'm never letting him go.

I actually have Marshall on my island. Here's the story:
I remember I had just started playing Animal Crossing, and I was looking for any villagers I thought looked ok on those random islands. I had no idea who Marshall was, but lo and behold there he was, at the very top of some island almost like he was a prize. My sister happened to see, and she was honestly shocked that I had found the legendary #1 villager. I didn't really like him at first, I just thought, "I guess I could always sell him or something." But then as he was on my island, he became a part of it, and also became one of my favorite villagers alongside the greatest cat ever, Stinky.
