Hello. I can't have control on a specific parameter available in ATV71 over Modbus RTU...no value appear under red colored box in the animation table. What could be the source of this ?
Hi Tarek, i believe the problem is that you do not have communication with the atv thats why you have the red box. Please check the %S and %SW for the ioscanner.
@@tarekbenhacine8743 if the parameter is a reading try to reset the ioscanner. If the parameter is a writing try to assign a %MW then reset the ioscanner.
If i has atv312 with modbus serial and atv320 with modbus TCP, how to connect them to be communicated via modbus TCP? I connect atv312 to gateway and the gateway output (modbus TCP) i connect it to atv320 and from atv320 to The M221 ? is that is the right way ??
Hi Ahmed, i have not tested the communication of atv312 over modbus tcp because i do not have a gateway but “ in theory” you will need to add the atv312 and use a different unit1 so you can write to the register of the drive…but again i have not tested that part. Your idea of connection is okay, you are thinking in a daisy chain connection is alright
