Is Zubamendi head and shoulders better than Lakonga? Sambi looked to have improved when out on loan, and he’s definitely grown in physicality and maturity. I’ve now watched countless highlights on Zubamendi, but as yet I remain unconvinced.🤷♂️
The fact that we had to take Raya on loan at the end of last summer should have told us that we were at the limit of what we could spend in the current financial period, and that we’d have to wait until the start of the next one on July 1 before we could do anything else. Luckily it shaping up to be a slow summer for everyone anyway because of all the summer tournaments, so it probably won’t affect us a great deal.
