With the clock ticking down every second, you're forced to drive faster and faster, so fast that your car's grip can get thrown outside the window; so fast, your brakes might fail. It's the knowledge of the potential of losing that makes the game very thrilling, and the soundtrack maximizes that feeling. I know this, because I chose the Shelby gt500 on Chapter 6 on hard mode. My console was literally soaked in sweat.
@@lucasmuller858 Tbh with you the latest NFS game that I own and can run on my pc is NFS rivals (I can barely run it). The traffic in NFS MW 2012 is super annoying, especially when you are playing online. I can't judge how annoying traffic is in the new games because I haven't played them

Late reply, but the Time Trial music in The Run is corresponding with numbers of restarts. First play after launching the game, this music played, but after that, the other theme played, and loop to the first one and so on.
When you're driving the lexus lfa on the 2nd to last level on stage 5 on extreme with manual transmission and you know the final straightaway is filled with blind hill crested field goal car passes and the only way you're going to make it with 20 seconds left is driving straight through the center without so much as a scratch...
when you play on extreme difficulty and first thought the Jack's M3 isn't enough for the first catch up stage then you bring out the Shelby Super Snake, but it drifts and loses control too often but then you realize near missing traffic gains nitro!!! you finish the stage at 1 second left.

Man, the traffic cars on this stage are so annoying, especially during the steep corner near the end of the event. You know what i am talking about.

I hate timed races in general but not the timed races in this game. On extreme difficulty - they are one of my favourites races ever.
